Pre-event Enma Meeting
Who ⬤ Team Enma
What ⬤ Pre-event coordination
When ⬤ 3/31, 7 pm
Where ⬤ Kaigo no Bou - meeting room
Content Warnings ⬤ Probably none but will update if needed
[ Well, it would appear, following his post, that the Enma is rather hands-off in his management approach; so if the members of his department wish to coordinate their efforts to maintain order during the much-publicized and now-imminent Night Parade event, it seems they'll just have to meet up and discuss plans on their own time. That suits Stronghart just fine.
It's a last minute effort, but throughout the day on Thursday, any member of his faction whom he encounters will be instructed to gather at the meeting room where they all met on their first day here at 7 o'clock in the evening in order to discuss their plans and assign roles as needed.
He does not actually arrive there himself until 7:08. It's fine. ]

I see I'm... eight minutes and eleven seconds late. My apologies.
[ He doesn't sound terribly apologetic, and simply slips the watch back into his coat pocket. ]
I thank all of you for making time for this meeting on such short notice. With such a large scale event now on the immediate horizon, I thought it prudent for those of us tasked with maintaining order to make an attempt to coordinate our efforts in advance — pooling information, assigning roles, and planning for whatever particular brands of trouble we expect might arise.
Whilst some of us shared introductions during our initial meeting here, I think we would benefit from doing so again now in a more organised forum, now that we've all had a chance to settle into things a bit.
To start us off — my name is Mael Stronghart, and I am the Lord Chief Justice of the Empire of Great Britain as of the year 1900. As such, my background is in law, as a judge and a former prosecutor, though I also work closely with our police force and am familiar with their procedures and investigative methods... at least as they exist in my own time and place.

Salutations. I am Kazuki Soma, and I was the leader of the criminal organization known as RK. [ A look comes over his expression like he might say more, but he gives a curt, little smile to everyone instead. ] My background is a little more -- [ His head bobs side-to-side. ] -- violent than most.
[ He presses a hand on his chest as he bends slightly forward, imploringly. ] I understand what it means to run an empire from the shadows and what it is to uphold order in that chaos.
I will say again that I look forward to working with all of you.

Oya, it's my turn?
[If no one else is going to speak up, he'll continue.]
My name is Ichimonji Norimune. Before I arrived here, I'm simply a retired old man. But I do have experience working for my country's government, as well as running my family's business until my retirement. Let's say I'm little familiar with bureaucratic systems, and leading a group. I'm also familiar with a sword, so you don't worry about me being defenseless.
[In public, he's just Norimune. But among the Department employees, he decided giving his full name is fine. They'll find out anyway.]
I look forward to working with you all.

Good evening everyone!
I'm sure introductions have been made, hm? [She's a flowery thing, with a butterfly-patterned haori and a very real sword at her hip.]
You may call me Shinobu, for those I've yet to speak with. You might say I'm something of a warrior from my time period, but I think slayer could also work?
[She smiles, disarming.] And while I'm not particularly versed in diplomatic endeavors... I do know how to protect myself and others. I refuse to stand by while innocents are being targeted in this place, regardless of this feud.
I hope we can all get along. [Feel free to lay it on her!]
be(l)at(ed) you to it
slowly crawls here...
The name I was given is Six. I belonged to a crew who kept the peace in the Phantagrande skydom.
[ a beat passes. he's considering how to go about sharing what he knows without getting anyone in trouble. ]
Maintaining order at the Night Parade might be the least of our worries. A strange machine is located underneath the central point of the parade's route. It is currently unknown what purpose it's meant to serve, but it might be worth keeping up our guard up in that area.

intro-y thing that's an intro
[Dazai is playing some kind of fighting game on his phone, which, to be fair, is probably more active than people have seen him in the office. He tries not to spend too much time here, preferring to be out in the streets.
He'll absolutely come here for the free coffee, though. And also maybe to have a nap under some paperwork from time to time. Hope he never occupied your desk that way!]
Don't worry - [he continues, smashing buttons on the screen] I won't keep you waiting as long as the Lord Chief Justice.
[Not that he's being a petty asshole and playing a game purely to complain about that stunt in this way, or anything. Nope, he's a mature adult.]
BANG! Take that! [With that, he seems to have finished his game, heaving a sigh of satisfaction as he puts away his phone, clearly pleased with himself. It's nice to murder some baddies! ... Or goodies, but, yanno. It's a game. It's all fair.]
Time for introductions, is it? My name is Dazai Osamu. Lately - and late, I suppose - of Yokohama.
I was with a detective agency there, so no worries, you can count on me.
[He beams a smile. Yes, reliability is clearly the impression he's trying to make here.]
