[ Well, it would appear, following his post, that the Enma is rather hands-off in his management approach; so if the members of his department wish to coordinate their efforts to maintain order during the much-publicized and now-imminent Night Parade event, it seems they'll just have to meet up and discuss plans on their own time. That suits Stronghart just fine.

It's a last minute effort, but throughout the day on Thursday, any member of his faction whom he encounters will be instructed to gather at the meeting room where they all met on their first day here at 7 o'clock in the evening in order to discuss their plans and assign roles as needed.

He does not actually arrive there himself until 7:08. It's fine. ]

[ luckily for dimitri, this erune isn't bothered by the lengthy speech. it isn't the first time six has fallen silent to simply listen to what others have to say, and it isn't going to be the last. it also helps that he agrees with everything dimitri just said too.

(then again, for someone like him, is there a point in trying to be good? when he's just so inherently awful?) ]

[ or at least felix tells him he talks too much and has no problems telling him to fuck off ... though felix is not the best metric for it, he does tend to pay attention to him, for better or worse. ]

[ despite the way he acts sometimes, six has the patience of a saint. he's listened to siete ramble many times more, and often the topics are more inane than what dimitri just went over. ]

[ dimitri looks at him in confusion, not really understanding what the issue is - until he remembers something that sylvain had told him once, and then he feels flustered. ]

Oh, I ... I was joking. [ oh dear. ] I apologize. How thoughtless of me. I only meant ... I hope that we could continue to be genial to one another.

[ dimitri isn't alone in feeling flustered, but six feels even dumber for the misunderstanding. he is no good with jokes sometimes, the kind of erune to take things literally if he doesn't know any better. ]

No need to apologize. I was the one who misunderstood— [ his ears pin themselves against downy hair. ] Sorry. I'm sure... we'll get along just fine.

I will be more careful with my words. I try to make jokes, sometimes - now you know I am bad at them - and it's gotten me into trouble, since people have taken me too seriously for such things.

[ the other half of it being: he is a prince, and he really shouldn't be careless with what he says, even if that doesn't apply here anymore. ]

It is not your fault. I was being too cavalier with my words, and ought to have known better.

I know better for next time too. It's fine. [ a beat. ] That said, I may not be the best person to make jokes around... I've been told I lack a sense of humour.

We ought to study the topic together. That way, we'll be more knowledgeable and less prone to making mistakes.

Will doing something like that really work? I'm not opposed to it.

I had a colleague in my school who was fond of such things. He kept track of jokes he liked in a notebook.

Now ... they weren't very good jokes, but he made the effort to lift everyone's spirits often, and I always thought that was rather admirable of him. I think we can study jokes and humour together and work towards such a goal.

[ six has no idea how they got from point a to b, where b is the two of them deciding to study jokes together to improve their sense of humour, but dimitri makes it sound like such an admirable goal. he makes it difficult to say no. ]

Then, I suppose we both need to acquire a notebook. I'll try to share any jokes I find humorous with you as well.
