[ There is an extremely tall snake woman in sunglasses and glaring bright neon green dress. It's been cut to allow her tail through the back and the thin fabric shows the presence of the large tattoo on her back and the thin black stripe of her lace underwear underneath. She's wearing a pair of black ankle boots, the heels of which have an already decently tall person entirely towering. She has long black hair and red lipstick, her pale white snake scale glittery with some kind of body oil. Even her perfume is noticeable: fruit, sandalwood, rose.

She's looking through dresses, makeup, jewelry, perfume. She's not opposed to being social while she looks, she might even hold up a dress in front of her body and inquire, ]

[ She has a lilting, informal way of speaking; Osaka-ben pitched falsetto. She also really doesn't entirely pass but seems comfortable enough regardless. What do you think? Want to go shopping? ]

[ The girl she turns to is here for a dress, too, flipping through the rack with vague interest. Most of this isn't her vibe, and she's got an armful of men's clothing as is; all dark, and nothing that would fit her. Goromi is perhaps keen enough to guess that armful isn't for her, but judging by how tattered the pale pink dress she's wearing, Aerith is definitely in the market for something new now. ]

Hmm. [ She takes a step back, elbows raised, and takes in the dress that Goromi holds up. She really considers this, thinking hard... ]

I like it on you! Really pretty. [ Simple as that.

Still, Aerith holds up a white mini dress; skin tight, with shimmering stones dotting the garment. It sparkles with ease in any lighting. ]

This matches your scales, too. [ ...Is she using Goromi for dress up? Maybe. Sshh. ]

[ Oh, Aerith have you ever found the nee-san of your dreams. Goromi slinks closer with a charming, speculative smile. ]

[ This is a good question, it seems, because it catches her off guard. Regarding Goromi with surprise laced into her features, Aerith raises the pile in her arm disinterestedly. Really, this isn't her vibe. ]

Some options for a friend. He's in the hospital.

[ One Mr. Strife, who is resting in a hospital bed in an executive suite. ]

I don't want him to wear his stinky, old military clothes when he gets out, so... I'm grabbing him some new duds!

[ She holds up a plain, boring black top. At least it has a pocket? ] He likes dark colors, but... I don't know. Don't you think it's a good occasion for some color and celebration? Maybe I should think for myself now...

(GOROMI) I CAN STILL FIGHT IN THESE HEELS

[ She's catching shit from some ugly yokai on a street corner. They start with nasty whistles, asking her if she wants to make some cash in a 'movie'. She approaches them lazily to tell them that they can all get lost and if she catches them out here again, she's going to hand their asses to them. This elicits laughter and a few aspersions about the pair of heels she's wearing. She takes it in good humor until someone touches her, then she punches them in the face. That's when the real ruckus and shouting begins. ]

(GOROMI) START THE CLUB MUSIC

[ She's in a fully sequined red dress. It's absolutely impossible not to notice her in the club. She's drawing a lot of attention, especially when she goes out on the dance floor and patently just enjoys herself, rejecting anyone who wants to come over and be her partner. She loves to dance and does so without self-consciousness which is a better look than even the most striking moves.

There is a bit of a scrabble to see who can sit with her. She's popular, not just with those looking to score tonight but she also has regular customers from the clubs who recognize her and come to say hello. She's gracious with everyone, but she's clearly not all that interested in any of the would-be suitors.

She will, however, accept drinks. The snake woman really can out drink most of the people around her, so she just accepts the lineup of shots. She sits back with a cigarette and works on them lazily until she wants to go back out to the dance floor. ]

[ One of the drinks comes from a much more familiar face. This isn't Izō's usual scene, but what's a second life if you don't try new things? He mostly sticks to the bar -- any attempt to drag him to dance all fall flat. It's more interesting to watch the dance floor instead of be out there himself. ]

Lookin' good out there, girlie. [ He grins as he ashes his cigarette. ] Ya here often?

[ She leans on her elbow, smiling charmingly. ]

Well, if it isn't Mister Bodyguard. Fancy seeing you here.

[ The confidence of his smirk is downplayed somewhat by the little blush that creeps across his cheeks. ]

[ Well, you've gotten her home. Glittering dress and all; that probably needs to remedied. ]

(GOROMI) CLUB MERCURY

[ Well, you've taken the time to buy hers. She sits forward to carefully pop and pour the champagne, extending the slender glass with a smile. She'll also offer a cigarette if you're the type, ask if you mind for herself. Then she sits back comfortably. ]

What brings ya out tonight, huh?

(MAJIMA) WHERE IS MAJIMA?

[ He's really not in the mood to be himself much lately. It's preferable to just zone out and let the character of Goromi handle the day to day script. It's fun, it's light.

But he has responsibilities. He's around, here and there. In the morning he goes for a run, some of those days he goes to the gym or the Arena afterwards. He's gotten tougher in the ring. The scales on his body have gotten stronger, more pronounced and visible with their opalescent shine. He's less concerned in the fighting ring, willing to get hurt a little more now that the regeneration has taken hold. Wanna take a swing at him? He loves to fight and people probably have some fucking emotions they need to take out on something. He'll take it, gladly.

He does his collections, he reprimands Shutens for not wearing their damn uniforms or straightens them out if they're too messy. (Let's be honest, Goromi will too.) But he can be found in Jigokucho, sometimes. ]

(MAJIMA) WATER BENDING

[ One last secret little place he can be found is down by the river in the morning. He does the same thing every time: he throws in a five yen coin, does his claps and bows, and then goes with his pant legs rolled up to stand in the water.

For those with the sight for it, magic gathers all around him when he does. His internal possession blending with that of the river. Sometimes, that's all he does; all but a form of meditation. Sometimes he steps back a little onto the bank and makes circles and shapes in the shallow, lapping waves on the shore.

Muttered to himself, ]

finally got Sheliak's water magic back, sorry it took longer than I thought

[Sheliak also liked to escape to the river in the morning. He could finally enjoy the water like he wanted to and he needed the comfort of a short underwater nap before reality and his responsibilities dragged him out of his shelter. He was still shaken from everything so he chose a different spot along the river each time to avoid people.

When Sheliak saw Majima, his first instinct was to duck back underwater before the other man saw him but he dashed that foolish thought aside. He sunk down into the water, his quiet sigh creating ripples of his own before he swam over to join Majima on the bank. When he stepped out of the river the water slid off him as if he was simply taking off a watery coat. He was wearing his Shuten uniform, black slacks, and a white long-sleeve shirt. He leaned down to retrieve his black jacket, which was folded underneath a small bush to keep it hidden. His gaze followed the waves Majima made in the water as he slipped on his jacket, his left arm was a bit clumsier than his right. His injury hadn't completely healed yet and he hid his small wince as a curious hum.]

I didn't realize you had water magic as well.

[ Majima just gawps at him for a moment, mostly taken off guard. ]

For 'bout a month.

[ So really, not a lot of people know about it at all. Majima doesn't want to talk above his grade, he knows he can barely do fuck all with it. ]

[Sheliak tensed a little at Majima's reaction. This was the first time he really showed his magic here and unfortunately he couldn't hide it now that it was unsealed. He quickly pushed his fear aside and focused on Majima's answer instead.]

A month?

[The new watery shimmer in Sheliak's eyes mirrored the ripples in the water that his gaze followed as he carefully considered his response. How long did it take the others to learn how to shape their magic? It only took him a few days but he couldn't possibly go with that. Majima was a higher rank than him. Arrakis took about a month didn't he? Although he was the last to figure it out...

After a short pause Sheliak hid his panic behind a confident answer.]

[it takes a lot to push Emily into the direction of truly, genuinely irritated. stressed, yes, peeved, yes, but her anger is something that needs to be dredged up from the sea in order to function. and what Goro just told her does so - in light of the fact that she had just been standing there, in that hospital, willing to bow her head and accept more responsibility. so the look on her face, quickly headed towards fuming, is something.]

He does realize what he's just done to us all?

[ Majima ducks his head down to light his cigarette, leaning back on the windowsill. He had said before he went that Ryouma was a fucking idiot. Obviously his opinion has not changed now. ]

Does he?

[ Majima drawls disdainfully. ]

He does not.

[the last word is a hiss, and she paces, unable to settle herself now.]

I doubt he thought before the words truly left his mouth that he was dragging every Alliance member along with him. Betting with stakes he doesn't have in his hand to offer.

[on her neck and her lower arms, spots of black begin to emerge and form, growing the more wound up she gets. feathers, coming forth from how much boils under her skin.]

No one asked us how we felt about such a plan. What we were willing to give our resources to. Our situation in the city is tenuous at best - we're outsiders. Him included.

[ He texts first that he would like to see them, and then makes his way over to the Tamamo housing to knock on their door. He looks a little weary, but otherwise recovered enough. He takes off his shoes at the door politely and comes inside. ]

Em told me ya rescued me. Wanted to... come say thanks.

[ She shakes her head in response to the thanks. ]

You don't need to thank me. I was just doing what I would have done back home, track down the lost and see them to safety.

[ Once he's inside Azem turns to her little kitchen that clearly doesn't see much use. ]

Would you like something?
