[ She's in a fully sequined red dress. It's absolutely impossible not to notice her in the club. She's drawing a lot of attention, especially when she goes out on the dance floor and patently just enjoys herself, rejecting anyone who wants to come over and be her partner. She loves to dance and does so without self-consciousness which is a better look than even the most striking moves.

There is a bit of a scrabble to see who can sit with her. She's popular, not just with those looking to score tonight but she also has regular customers from the clubs who recognize her and come to say hello. She's gracious with everyone, but she's clearly not all that interested in any of the would-be suitors.

She will, however, accept drinks. The snake woman really can out drink most of the people around her, so she just accepts the lineup of shots. She sits back with a cigarette and works on them lazily until she wants to go back out to the dance floor. ]

[ One of the drinks comes from a much more familiar face. This isn't Izō's usual scene, but what's a second life if you don't try new things? He mostly sticks to the bar -- any attempt to drag him to dance all fall flat. It's more interesting to watch the dance floor instead of be out there himself. ]

Lookin' good out there, girlie. [ He grins as he ashes his cigarette. ] Ya here often?

[ She leans on her elbow, smiling charmingly. ]

Well, if it isn't Mister Bodyguard. Fancy seeing you here.

[ The confidence of his smirk is downplayed somewhat by the little blush that creeps across his cheeks. ]

What, surprised t' see me in a place like this or somethin'?

I dunno... figured ya'd be out runnin' yer business or somethin'.

[ Chuckling laughter. ]

Aren't ya out there havin' a time when I ain't around?

[ Izō shrugs. ]

Maybe I decided t' take a night off. Wasn't like I was out looking for ya or nothin'.

[ It's true, this is just a happy coincidence. ]

Don't be mean, of course you were lookin' for me.

[ She's teasing him and slides out of her chair to hang off his shoulders. ]

[ He rests back against her and turns to give her a little kiss on the cheek. ]

Might notta been lookin' for ya, but yer makin' sure I'm lookin' at ya, that's for damn sure.

What else am I supposed t'do if ya won't come dance with me?

[ An eyebrow raise. ]

Hm? That what ya want?

[ He's not much for dancing, but persuading him isn't hard, at least not for her. ]

Shoulda jus' dragged me out there, then.

You said it, not me.

[ She answers with cheek, taking hold of his wrist and pulling. ]

[ Shit. He did that to himself, didn't he? Somehow he hadn't expected her to take him up on it nor to do it so literally. ]

'Ey! [ He goes with the pull. Maybe he'll stop saying things some day ]. C'mon, ya serious?

[ He knows she is. ]

[ She smiles mercilessly, swaying as she makes it back out into the dance floor lights. They glitter off her dress, mesmerizing. ]

It's fun.

[ She pulls him all the way to her and puts his hands on her waist. ]

Just follow me, it ain't nothin'.

[ He is extremely out of his element and he can't help but think she's taking some sort of enjoyment out of that fact. His face burns, feeling far too seen for his liking. It's...fine, though. He pushes through the immediate embarrassment and follows along like she asked. ]

Easy for ya t' say...

[ It's not too different from copying someone's sword technique. A far different realm, but...at least he can conceptualize it this way. Awkward at first, he gets a little better as his confidence grows. ]

[ She tells him cheerfully, arms draped over his shoulders. She twines some of his hair in her fingers. ]

[ Wow, if dreary ass masc Majima can have a good time dancing, so can you. ]

[ Look, he's still not used to being the modern era. It's an adjustment! Give him time and maybe he'll learn to have fun instead of being a grumpy brat. ]
