But, Sha Gojyo was a physical fighter in the truest sense of it all. And when it came to hand-to-hand combat like this, well, he just happened to be the type of guy who was always in survival mode.]
Ah. That's it?
[It was a taunt more than anything. A smarmy grin taking hold as he looked down at his floored opponent.
Truthfully, he could have easily just lifted her and threw her out the ring. But he at least wanted to see what she was capable of.
Stepping down, the cheering of the crowd around them had been blocked out as he offered his hand towards her.
An offer of comradery.]
So, what was that you said?
The loser gets to fulfil the winners 'tasks'?
[To think such a serious and stubborn looking girl was secretly such a perv.]
no subject
Right. Whatever you want. Let me guess. A date?
no subject
He hoisted her up to her feet, grasping her arm, offering a wide playful grin.]
I have to make up for how badly I messed up at that cafe, yeah? Save face and all that?
So what do you say? Would a cute, attractive girl like you do me the honors of a do-over? Say some drinks? Maybe a good meal and some fun to top it all off?
no subject
[ Back on her feet again she got herself cleaned up and dressed. She was somewhat distracted going over the match and where she went wrong. Recalling every move that she possibly could would help her adjust her technique later. This wasn't over. She intended to fight him again one day. ]
I could use a bath.
no subject
[Woah now. Hold on a second--
The surprise was pretty apparent in Gojyo's eyes. He was blinking as he tried to process her sudden words.
Damn. This girl seemed to have already a whole damn plan for what she wanted them to do tonight, huh?
The problem was that he wasn't expecting it. Gojyo hoped to do what he promised he would back when he first spoke to her. Maybe treat her to a few drinks at a bar. Perhaps find a fancy restaurant to wine-and-dine her properly. Perhaps a dance or two, or even a night out at the casino.
He was not expecting to be asked to take her back to his place.
Which was a mess.
And even worse, she asked him to cook for her.
And he knew his cooking was C-Grade at best.
Shit.]
A-ah, erm. S-sure. Okay.
[Shit. Shit. Shit.]
You want me to sneak you into the Sutoku complex that badly, eh? You aren't trying to spy on us secretly and our sleeping quarters, are you?
[Maybe if he teased her a little about it? Perhaps that could spare him some time.]
no subject
[ He seemed thrown off by that. Maybe she misunderstood. She wasn't so good at judging these situations. If he was going to mess with her then she could challenge him on that. She may have lost the match but she was still feeling competitive. He wanted to have fun after all. ]

The kappa in question is a young fella by the name of Fujimoto. While he doesn't hail from the same tribe that hosted the Night Parade, Fujimoto knows a thing or two about what's going on. This street smart turtle is one of the few youkai willing to be interviewed. Most of the youkai here in Jigoku-cho won't give the Lost Souls the time of day nevertheless candidly chat with them.]
You best find someplace to hide, lil buddy. [Dante warns as he gets up from the desk.] This might get messy.
[While Dante's apartment is relatively small in size, it looks spacious enough because of how he utilized said space. He has a small bedroom littered with magazines, alcohol bottles and clothes, a fairly kept bathroom, and small living quarters equipped with a kitchenette with red vintage couch that almost looks exactly like the red monstrosity back within the Devil May Cry. He also have an old looking oak desk by the window with a matching chair. There's a couple of plants here and there that he picked up as of recently but the real eyecatcher is probably the pretty glass vase with a dozen roses.
Once Fujimoto finds a decent hiding spot, Dante opens the door with his typical flourish. He's without the fancy red coat this evening and without a shirt apparently but that's all according to plan.]
Ho boy, I don't recall ordering room service. [Dante says as he slicks his hair back.] To what do I owe the pleasure?
no subject
I'm Julieta Juris of the Department of the Enma. I need to speak with you regarding a certain report. You don't mind if I step inside. I won't be long.
[ She moves to go inside without any further explanation. If he's hiding something then he knows what she's here for. She keeps her guard up watching for signs of resistance. ]
no subject
Be my guest~! [Dante can't help but chuckle when Julieta strolls right past him. It's a little rude but he always liked the rude ones.] Sorry if the place is a bit of a mess. I wasn't expecting company.
[He states as he closes the door for the time being. Instead of locking it like he normally would, he purposely leaves the lock off just in case his little buddy needs to make a run for it. The kappa in question has two options, either climb out the window onto the fire escape or run out the front door. The latter of the two will be tricky.]
So, what's the deal with the report?
no subject
[ She starts walking the perimeter, avoiding whatever mess has been left around. This really isn't something she has any experience with. She listens for any sign of movement. At the same time she's trying to keep an eye on Dante too. If he's not even fully clothed then at least that reduces the possibility of concealed weapons but not entirely. She stops at the couch and looks behind it. ]
We're bringing them in for questioning about the assassination. They're not in any trouble we just need their cooperation to find a lead on who did this.
no subject
Not too many kappa would hang out around here. [He states while leaning against a nearby wall with those beefy arms crossed over his chest. Dante might have the diet of a frat boy but he has the body of a Greek deity.] After all, most youkai avoid us Lost Souls like the plague.
[He nervously glances over at the bedroom when Juileta inches closer to it. His little green friend might be in there. Who knows? Either the kappa is somewhere there or maybe Dante is worried about her finding his porn stash.]

When were you going to tell me?
no subject
He looked to the woman approaching him in curiosity.]
Hello Maiden Julietta,
I was merely trying to protect you from unsavory characters such as Jin Guangyao. You were so convinced that I was Huaisang, would you have been amenable to me shattering that illusion there and then? You seemed so out of it. All I could do was to make certain you got home safely.
I didn't say anything because I did not want to embarrass you.
no subject
[ She would hear no argument about her debt. Her pride depended on it. If he was so concerned about her embarrassment then maybe he would understand. He didn't have to go out of his way for her even if she would have preferred it another way. That much she was grateful for, reluctant as she was. If he had wanted to harm her he would have had every opportunity to do so. Not something she would consider worthy of praise but the thought did come up. ]
no subject
[He did get it. One being indebted to someone always posed a risk. Especially if she perceived him as an enemy. His various tails swished back and forth with thought.]
Hmmm, I did cause you some trouble. Tell you what, perhaps you can assist me with something here and we can call it even.
no subject
[ That's what she wanted to hear. At least he had decency enough to say it whether he really meant it or not. He would need to prove himself before she could really trust him. As for his suggestion she raised an eyebrow. She wasn't sure just how he thought she could be of help to him here but she was listening. ]
Alright, what is it?
no subject
[As someone who grew up in this type of environment, he knew all the dangers of it, being sold, harvested used, and abused was just par for the course. From what he had seen of Julietta Juris, she seemed rather straightforward. That type paints a target on her back for nefarious people.]
You see, Tenkohime has a request of us Tamamo members, we must make a good showing here.
[He gestures at the orgy.]
Unfortunately for me, I am at a disadvantage. It has been a long long time since I had been intimate with anyone. Especially one of the fairer sex. I hate to admit that I am rather rusty and nervous to jump into what is asked of me. Would you be interested in being my client?
Although I am rusty I am very knowledgeable is such affairs.

Good to see you again. So what now?
no subject
There might be something to Jin Guangyao's comment about just jumping in though he doesn't want to rush her.]
it's good to see you, too, Lady Julieta. I assume you're here to enjoy the festivities the Tamamo Clan is providing?
[His voice is soft and smooth. Even if he's new to this line of work, the skills he's picked up as a sect leader can be applied here.]
no subject
[ She's definitely not someone who does that often. It's easier to stick with things she knows she's good at. She nods her head looking down at the hands he's taken hold of. It's so much different than the cold salutes of the military but not at all unwelcome. A change from that is something she doesn't even realize how much she needs. She glances around at the whole setup of the room wondering if that might tell her anything. ]

He's also set up a few different avenues of entertainment, deciding to set up camp and have everything he might need in advance. In addition to a variety of sex toys, bondage gear, lotions, and massage oils, he's also thought ahead to prepare for traditional companionship services. There's a shogi board and a bamboo flute sitting on a table. On another, there's a stack of porn magazines; more a practical consideration for the uncertain or indecisive customer who might need a little extra assistance in choosing their services.]
New things? Is this your first visit to an establishment like this? It's my first time working in one though I've been a long-time visitor at similar ones back home.
[Being the provider rather than the customer is an interesting change of pace.]
no subject
I've never been. There were always so many other things to focus on. Since my promotion back home I've only been getting more and more responsibilities.
no subject
He smiles sympathetically, gaze softening at her words, before he takes a seat beside her on the bed, gently resting his hand on her knee. If it's too much too soon, she can easily brush it aside without any hard feelings. Right now, he's simply gathering information and assessing her limits before he begins to work in full.]
I can relate. Responsibilities go hand in hand with positions of power. There's so much to think about, it's easy to forget how to relax or to take care of your own needs.
[His reliance on others was the result of genuine need as much as it was a means to keep tabs on his enemies and their allies. He was so busy focusing on others back home, he'd had little energy to focus on attending to his own needs.]
