[To be honest, she was mostly hoping he wouldn't care. She should be so lucky.]

Strength training exercises, free-running, and martial arts, among other things.

[None of which was a lie, except of omission. That should satisfy him.]

I realize that's a bit more boring than controlling two elements, but I like to think I make up for it with my charming personality.

Then maybe instead of training my quirk, we can train together. Friendly competition is a good motivator. As for free running, I don't mind paying to go to a course if you think there's one paid that's better.

Part of her wants to be gratified. Even at her most persuasive, 'kind' has always been a bit beyond her range. Another part of her assumes this poor fool must be, quite simply, the worst judge of character she's ever encountered. Either way, it catches her so off guard that she can't even laugh.

[GASP. Someone who sees his idiocy and actually corrects it instead of perpetuating it or yelling at him? Mistake number two has been made. He opens up the links and it takes him a second or two.]

I can keep up and if I can't, I will adapt and get better to make sure I do. I could use the work out. Normally I rely on my quirk for movement, but this shouldn't be an issue. It looks fun.

It's good not to rely on your abilities too heavily or neglect other skills.

That's one of the reasons I practice multiple disciplines myself.

[Shoto assumes they're both speaking from experience. She doesn't have to worry about that, and his appreciation isn't going to make him useful. It's her asking. That's all she has to do. Even right then.

But Shoto is taking to heart that she's right, and he had been training in the last place he was in with someone he considers a hand to hand expert.]

You're right. That's why I could use the practice. If you already do these things then you won't have to hold back. We can set a finish line and make our way to it. You don't happen to knife throw as well, do you?

I'm reasonably skilled with knives. I learned from somebody who was a lot better, though.

I already use them. That's how I learned, too. They're no longer in my life and I miss them and their teachings. Could we practice that one day together? You don't have to teach me, it would just be nice to practice with someone who knew already.

[If there's nothing else about Shoto, he's aware of himself, his limitations and what he wants to push about his abilities in anything. She may find hard workers, but he's among the hardest worker at making himself better to better the place around him.]
