[Today is a very special day for several reasons. So Nazuna has spared no expense in getting dressed up. Despite the grand details, he moves with a very practiced grace; never once stepping on or ruffling the delicate fabrics. He intends to use it for his performance later, so he has to treat it with care. He has to say that he likes this mix of traditional and frivolous– cuteness and beauty. He’s hoping that the guests who come to visit the Palace of Sai will appreciate it just as much.

This kind of atmosphere is cloyingly sweet, the kind that might get into your head. It’s all about indulgence here and today Nazuna has become one of many consorts prepared to help people do just that. Like several other Tamamo Clan members, Nazuna’s time can easily be bought– whether you’re looking for someone to keep you company while you enjoy the exquisite and quite costly drinks. He’s happy to make sure guests remember to eat something too. Feeding someone is something he can do without even batting an eyelash.

If they have more salacious thoughts on their mind, he won’t refuse the company. Since he’s theirs for the time being, he’ll do his part to be the ideal partner; whether it’s someone cute and obedient or someone more willful and forceful.]

Ahhh the stars feel so close. On a night like tonight… any encounter could be a fateful encounter~♡

Wish-Filled Performance (1 Point)

[Those who are interested in the more artistic pleasures of the evening will be treated to a variety of performances on the stage throughout the night. And while it did require a bit of tweaking, Nazuna feels pretty fortunate to have the perfect song for tonight already in his repertoire as an idol. It would have been a bit much to do as a solo but since Robin seemed interested in Ra*bits cute style, he was able to make it into a pretty impressive duet.

Prior to the performance, the edges of the stage were lined with various flower displays; bright and vibrant colors mixed like fireworks. The displays have been neatly created to advertise for Aerith’s new flower shop.

As for the performance itself– it goes off splendidly, Robin and Nazuna putting on their very best heart-felt performance of a cute and catchy song about the holiday itself.

After the performance, Nazuna sticks around to greet his new fans; handing out flowers to anyone who’s still lingering near the stage with a wink.]

[But even hard working rabbits have to take a break sometime. For him, it’s near the end of the night. The display of stars is nothing short of breathtaking. But there’s also a sort of melancholy in it. It’s a far more beautiful sight… and even the results he received were better…

But even so, if he had to pick… he would have rather been able to meet the people he loved.

That thought is allowed to stick for all of half a second before he’s shaking his head back and forth emphatically, like he’s trying to make it fly right out of his head. He slaps his cheeks and turns his head to the bamboo trees covered in colorful talismans.]

Wow~ There are so many wishes. I hope someone is able to answer them, even if I can’t.

[While she wasn't sure if his wishes would be granted, it was worth a try. After all, she doubts that her wish would be granted when there was so much uncertainty about how to start her business here.]

Hell or not, we still need to make sure that our prayers are answered!

[He picks up two separate talismans in light blue and deep red.]

I don’t know if I would have put a whole lot of stock into that sort of thing before. But after what I’ve seen here… the idea of wishes being granted doesn’t sound so impossible.

[She said with a giggle before glancing at what she written on her paper. It wasn't as grand as Nazuna's wish but it wouldn't hurt to show it to him.]

If it helps, my wish isn't all that easy to grant either. Wishing good health and getting enough money for my business can be rather difficult.

[Seeing her wish, he smiles. Maybe it is a lot, but it's a simple, genuine thing. If there really are people out there who do listen to such things, he hopes that they'll help her.]

No, but... I think it's a great wish. Sure it's something for you, but businesses help people too, so-- in a way your wish could affect others in the future too in a good way.

Even if it is something as morbid as helping them with death?

[There was a pause or two. She could crack a joke about her profession but this time?]

I like to think that it can aid them in realizing that the dead truly are not gone but have taken form in another way.

[He'd like to say there shouldn't be a need here but-- he's a realist. And this situation may be unique but it's not so ideal.]

...well someone's gotta do it, right? If anything, coming here has made me feel that much closer to death. So in a way it is comforting knowing that there's someone out there who can take care of those kinds of things.

Even knowing that it can appear whenever? While we are in hell and that anything can happen, it's still a scary reminder.

[Not that it wasn't any different in her world but she was curious to hear his reaction. She had come to terms with her own mortality, but others might not. As she leans in a little to see his response, she hoped that she didn't scare him off too much yet.]

Well... yeah. That's how it works. Sure it's scary. Especially now. But I think it's even scarier to forget something important like that.

[Forgetting that life was limited was, to him, like taking it for granted in a way. If you ignored the bad parts, then what did you have to compare the good ones to?]

[Again, Hu Tao kept on staring at him. Shifting her weight to the side, she was surprised to see how comfortable it he was talking about a somber topic.

With that, she gave a chuckle or two.]

And here, I thought you would be scared about that. It's good to know the people here seem to be comfortable with the idea of death.

Ahaha... well I don't have any plans on dying anytime soon if I can help it. At least not anymore than I did to get here.

[Maybe it is a touch morbid-- but he has always looked at things with a realist viewpoint.]

But it could happen anyway. Sure if I thought about it hard enough I'd probably scare myself. If you do that though, how are you supposed to live your life?

Which is why that is a good philosophy to have. Even if you know you're going to die, it's all the better to live your life with no regrets!

[Despite the somber topic, she couldn't help but smile.]

It's such a shame that the people who are living can't see if that way sometimes.

[He shakes his head, smiling softly. He looks down at the talismans in his hands, humming.]

I can't really blame them... it's not the kind of thing that's easy to think about. I figure it's probably those of us that already have regrets that do. Because we don't want to make the same mistakes we made in the past.

And all the more reason why you shouldn't regret what you want to wish for!

[She gave a giggle before pointing to the talisman.]

Or else, you might come back as a spirit who would haunt others. How spooky! [Again, despite the topic, she had to keep things a little cheery! As she waved her hands in front of her, she wondered if Nazuna would continue the same attitude she has.]

[All the more reason to give it a bit of extra thought before he writes something. Because wanting to see someone is one thing, but the thought of seeing them here is another entirely and one he doesn't want to make come true, even if it was only a one in a million chance.

Then I'll have you know they're not as scary as one thinks! If anything, they're the type who might want to play tricks on you!

[Granted, most of them only wanted someone to talk to as they were lonely back home. She wasn't too sure for the ones here as she hadn't spoken to them yet. Still, that didn't stop her from giving a slight smirk before crossing her arms.]

Are you going to be one of those ghosts that I might have to haunt down? Or will you be a zombie?

[He's actually genuinely quite interested in the subject. He's met a lot of unique cases but this is one kind of undead he definitely hasn't met before.]

Here, no. Back home, I have come across quite a few spirits! They're a lot less scary than you think.

[As she gave a dramatic sigh, it only served how she wished people listen to her. Ghosts, spirits, what have you? They're just lost souls who need help.]

Does that mean I need to track you down? Am I going to have to make sure you don't scare anyone because that would definitely make my job a little harder!

You could say that. It's more me trying to ensure that the dead find their peace. I can't afford to have some mischievous spirit lurking around and causing terror after all!

[That said, she narrowed her eyes a little.]

Although, it certainly would make my job more interesting. I suppose I can't complain, you seem like the type who would help get my exercise in for the day.

A lot of people like to say that ghosts linger in the world because they have some kind of emotional attachment or unfinished business. So I guess if they did, they'd probably have a pretty good reason to want to try and interact with the world around them-- even if they probably shouldn't.

[It was a little weird thinking about what he'd be doing if he were a ghost. But if he thinks about as though it were just like him as he was now then--]

That's right. I like to keep myself busy. Pretty sure dying wouldn't change that... If anything, I'd probably feel like I could do even more than I can now~
