[Today is a very special day for several reasons. So Nazuna has spared no expense in getting dressed up. Despite the grand details, he moves with a very practiced grace; never once stepping on or ruffling the delicate fabrics. He intends to use it for his performance later, so he has to treat it with care. He has to say that he likes this mix of traditional and frivolous– cuteness and beauty. He’s hoping that the guests who come to visit the Palace of Sai will appreciate it just as much.

This kind of atmosphere is cloyingly sweet, the kind that might get into your head. It’s all about indulgence here and today Nazuna has become one of many consorts prepared to help people do just that. Like several other Tamamo Clan members, Nazuna’s time can easily be bought– whether you’re looking for someone to keep you company while you enjoy the exquisite and quite costly drinks. He’s happy to make sure guests remember to eat something too. Feeding someone is something he can do without even batting an eyelash.

If they have more salacious thoughts on their mind, he won’t refuse the company. Since he’s theirs for the time being, he’ll do his part to be the ideal partner; whether it’s someone cute and obedient or someone more willful and forceful.]

Ahhh the stars feel so close. On a night like tonight… any encounter could be a fateful encounter~♡

Wish-Filled Performance (1 Point)

[Those who are interested in the more artistic pleasures of the evening will be treated to a variety of performances on the stage throughout the night. And while it did require a bit of tweaking, Nazuna feels pretty fortunate to have the perfect song for tonight already in his repertoire as an idol. It would have been a bit much to do as a solo but since Robin seemed interested in Ra*bits cute style, he was able to make it into a pretty impressive duet.

Prior to the performance, the edges of the stage were lined with various flower displays; bright and vibrant colors mixed like fireworks. The displays have been neatly created to advertise for Aerith’s new flower shop.

As for the performance itself– it goes off splendidly, Robin and Nazuna putting on their very best heart-felt performance of a cute and catchy song about the holiday itself.

After the performance, Nazuna sticks around to greet his new fans; handing out flowers to anyone who’s still lingering near the stage with a wink.]

Thanks for coming to see our show! Since we’re meeting today of all days I’ll be sure to remember you from here on out~♪

[But even hard working rabbits have to take a break sometime. For him, it’s near the end of the night. The display of stars is nothing short of breathtaking. But there’s also a sort of melancholy in it. It’s a far more beautiful sight… and even the results he received were better…

But even so, if he had to pick… he would have rather been able to meet the people he loved.

That thought is allowed to stick for all of half a second before he’s shaking his head back and forth emphatically, like he’s trying to make it fly right out of his head. He slaps his cheeks and turns his head to the bamboo trees covered in colorful talismans.]

Wow~ There are so many wishes. I hope someone is able to answer them, even if I can’t.

Performance

[ Barok's opinion on the music is mostly 'what in the blazes am I listening to...?'. The appeal of idols is lost on him and even the appeal of 'cuteness' as a general concept largely passes him by. And still, it is preferable to stand by the stage than to be accosted by courtesans looking for their next customer. People generally leave him alone here. 'To be left alone' is really a main goal he has for getting through the evening.

Which means fanservice is the absolute last thing he wants right now. And yet, there is a flower in his face. Barok is frowning. He is also not taking the flower. ]

... don't bother.

[Too bad, good sir, you don't scare him. With a bit of quick engineering, he pins the flower neatly to the front of his outfit. He takes a step back and looks at his work with a grin.]

Little late for that, don'tcha think? You don't exactly blend in real well.

[With the way live performances were held at Yumenosaki, Nazuna was no stranger to having people who weren't exactly there to root for him. And he'd had his fair share of people who didn't exactly like him after he left Valkyrie. So he can more than handle a little grumpy.]

It probably wasn't your kind of performance but thanks for coming to see us anyway.

[ Barok van Zieks has been flowered. He does not look happy about this turn of events. But at least he is not making any move to take it off - he just stands there like a statue of a judgmental deity.]

I hold no love for the contemporary music of this era as a whole.

[ So you know, don't take it super personally. ]

It was preferable to the morally misaligned commotion in the other halls, at least.

Ahhh~ I understand now.

[Although far less boisterous, there's something... no, several somethings... about this guy that remind him of Itsuki. He wouldn't say it, but-- he's kind of glad that he was able to meet him tonight.]

But you shouldn't lump it all together like that. Even now, there are people out there desperately trying to raise the bar for music, selling refinement to those willing to listen but never compromising just to please others.

[Nazuna decides there's room for an encore.]

Alright-- let me try one more time then~!

[There's no music this time. It's not a properly sanctioned or prepared performance-- just a song he knows all the parts to. It has all the frills stripped away, leaving only the artistry of the soft melody and the melancholy beauty of it's lyrics.]

[ Van Zieks is really not sure what he did to deserve this, but it's not like he has anywhere else to be either. He politely ignores the other stragglers in the audience coming in a bit closer to listen along.

These lyrics... certainly hit closer to van Ziek's emotional state than what was previously performed. He, too, has held a past in his heart that he'd hoped to make eternal. But he doesn't want to think about that right now.

By the end, he doesn't seem any more enthused than before but that is just his default expression anyway. ]

You do have the ability to shift style quite a bit, I will grant that.

[His expression is certainly difficult to read, he can tell that he probably won't be able to rely on it. His words however-- it's far from a glowing review, but it is praise and he will take it~]

...well, it's only because I used to part of a very different group. But it's nice that I was able to spread their art a little.

[Even if it was just to someone looking for a temporary reprieve from the excitement of some of the bolder indulgences people were celebrating with. The next performance wouldn't be for a little while since the schedule was built with the variety of the different acts in mind. He seriously doubted this guy had any plans for what to do with himself next, so--]

[ Nazuna is completely correct that van Zieks has nowhere to be right now, but he's still a prideful man who won't simply help out from the goodness of his heart... He's currently looking rather put off. ]

And why would I do so?

[That's not enough to deter him from trying. It doesn't need pointing out that he's not exactly built for carrying the larger displays on his own-- and he'd rather not bring any more attention to it. He gets treated like a kid enough by his college classmates.]

If you were interested in going back you should have just said so~

Van Zieks has been in Jigoku-cho long enough that this doesn't one-hit KO him anymore, but that does not mean he has any enjoyment of hearing sleazy comments about himself. His face instantly turns into a dangerous scowl. ]

I require non of your meddling, boy. You should keep that insolent mouth of yours shut on matters that do not concern you.

And you shouldn't judge people based on their appearances. I'm not a kid you know.

[Used to it or not, it's still disheartening. Not like there's anything he can do about it anyway.]

Besides, it was just a joke. Although-- I guess I did take it a little too far. My bad. I figured you looked pretty uncomfortable here. So if you weren't really interested in the music, it might be nice to get away for a little bit. People don't really pay much attention to you when it looks like you're busy.

[With enough fun to get into on their own, the workaholics can slip by pretty easy without being bothered.]

[ The admonishing falls onto deaf ears with van Zieks - 'not a kid' he says, but for Barok van Zieks who is 33 going on 70, it really doesn't make much of a difference.

He lets the actual explanation sink in for a moment, then shakes his head, looking exasperated. ]
