[with the day before them, she's there, already set to look over the schedule for today. but the professor's voice pulls her from her review, and she turns to look over the crystals, peering at their shape.]
I saw some of the effects - they were quite varied, though I mostly observed euphoria and elation. Do you think they're worth further study at this point?

[Thank you for your donation, Kim Kitsuragi: from the next room, the clinic radio's playing some lighthearted tune that Mikotoba's now tapping out on a foot.]

[He steps back. Actually, he slides back, his arms spread wide.]
You may think it preposterous. But I'm compelled to dance. I feel no other side effects. No euphoria or restlessness or other [ahem] other urges, simply the overwhelming need to continue dancing. [he's tapping out a very simple rhythm on the soles of his feet, then hops, heels clicking on the floor below as he lands neatly.
Somehow he doesn't seem upset about this. In fact he's a bit bemused. He does really love to dance.]
Care to join me, Doctor?

If I join you, aren't I forsaking my observational duties, Professor?
[that's not a no, though.]

My dear woman. It'll be much more fun to be an active observer, wouldn't you agree?
[Using his free hand he tips his hat to her.]

You'll have to teach me a few steps so I can keep up.
[she's a quick learner, though.]

[He pulls her away from the desk by the hand. It's silly, dancing in the middle of the clinic hallway, but it really only takes a little bit of compulsion from the stardust to do away with the last of what's holding him back from it. He could use a break. So could she.]
If not, tap is remarkably easy to pick up.

[a few idle lessons, a few social events as a child, and a desire to learn. her repertoire isn't immense, but there's something there.]
