What about the cat? [ Despite his posturing, Nishitani likes the cat too. He sighs and rubs his temple, still leaning on the fucking wall as he builds up the courage to try and take off his slacks. ]

[killtime]

It’s not like we can just bring him.

[ That menace of a creature belongs to himself and himself only. Capturing him is absolutely out of the question. ]

Maybe if we bribe the little fucker with fish. [ A half-beat then, as she eyes him leaning against the wall. Wryly, at length: ] You want a hand? At this rate, I’ll be halfway to the sento by the time you’re undressed.

[ Nishitani grins at Andy lewdly. ] You just want me naked, baby. Go right ahead, get what you want. [ Normally he would be hard talking about this. Normally. Right now, he's only got a halfie. With Andy offering to take off his pants, that should just show how fucked up the two of them are right now. ]

[killtime]

[ That suggestion earns a sidelong look. Not that she's ever opposed to fucking — not where he's concerned anyway — but there's a wry skepticism that look, as if she's half-amused by the effort when they've been too exhausted to fuck even once since getting home. Even with her standing there in her underwear, she doesn't seem especially convinced. ]

Yeah? [ Dryly, as she finishes putting her hair up: ] You sure your imagination isn't getting ahead of your dick, old man?

[ Still, she comes over to make herself useful, her hands deft with the familiar motions as she undoes the front of his pants. All he has to do is keep his balance while she helps him undress. ]

Never. [ He's sure he could eat her out and work up to a full hardon. Right now, though, that's not the point. ]

[ Nishitani keeps a hand on the wall for help with that balance situation, thanks. She's def at undressing him, though, and once he's down to his own underwear and socks, he finally stumbles over to where he'd tossed their yukatas last time they managed to get out to the sento. Feels like years, when it's only been a couple weeks, at most. ]

Here. [ Offers hers out to her, while getting his righted. ]

[ She reaches out for her yukata to take it from him and pull it on, tucking the fabric around herself in a way that’s habitual and automatic.

With a twinge of wryness: ]

Been so long, I sort of miss those two wrinkly old fucks at the sento.

[ It hasn’t been that long. Especially by the measure of an immortal’s lifetime. But it’s been long enough for her to miss the routine, and the pair of yokai running the place probably noticed their absence. ]

I bet they just soaked the entire fuckin time and bitched about the weather. [ Nishitani likes those two old fucks, too. He doesn't let people and their rules interfere with his wants often, but the bathhouse is warm, quiet, and close. They say no fucking in the sento and they're the only two people he's ever listened to on that matter. Finally, he pulls on his yukata and shambles over to the entry. ]

[ She wanders over to the door after him, nudging her sandals onto her feet before heading out the door. At least the walk there will be practically brainless - they’ve done it enough times that she could take herself to the bathhouse in her sleep. ]

Probably. [ Andy agrees mildly, her voice a bit fond when she goes on wryly: ] Soaking and bitching - it’s almost a little romantic.
