[ He sneers, showing his fangs with a faint hiss. There is an answer, but it's one that requires him to untangle many competing emotions; a task that he is not good at. ]

You're a pain, what did ya expect?

Breaking my heart over here. [ Nishitani growls low in his throat, a response to the hiss. ] You don't even talk to me anymore! Here I am thinking I've done something wrong!

Ya wanna stick yer fingers in shit ya don't understand.

[ At least that answer is blunt enough. ]

An' I'm not tryin' to explain it to ya anymore.

[ He knows his attempts are cryptic, that half the words stick in his throat, that he never really gets across what happened. That doesn't mean he didn't try at all. ]

[ Nishitani puts his hands up, shaking his head with an easy sigh. ] I want to stick my fingers in all over you, Majima-kun. I want to know everything about you, I want to see you. All I want is answers.

[ Is it? Nishitani thinks for a moment, before his own stupidity smacks him in the face. It's not answers, it's-- ] I want you to trust me.

I don't.

[ Without hesitation. He trusts Nishitani in a fight. But when it comes to his life, his head, and his heart? Absolutely the fuck not. ]

[ That earnest, hopeful look on Nishitani's face falls, and confusion comes over him. He thought-- Nishitani had thought that there'd been some kind of trust there, between them. ] Don't joke like that, you'll break my heart! I'd trust you with my life, you know!

[no_kyouken]

[ He shakes his head, weary and exasperated, frowning. ]

Ya don't fuckin' get it. I don't want ya in my head. Don't want ya fuckin' around tryin' t'figure out how t'fix me.

[ His jaw sets, teeth clicking. ]

Ya can't help me. Ya never could an' all yer gonna do is make it worse.

[ And it's already bad. The seeds are already planted and he's vibrating with the need to break. ]

[ Nishitani bites, he wants to bite and bite and consume. Maybe him and Chijoku are similar, maybe that's why Nishitani doesn't like him. ]

Why the fuck would I try to fix you? The way you are is fine! [ Nishitani likes Majima as this wild dog, this wild thing that goes insane and bites the hands that wrong him-- Nishitani likes it, fucking loves a good revenge story, and Nishitani just wants to be there. ]

[ So what, Majima freezes up sometimes. At this point, he might never break out of it. Nishitani doesn't know, he doesn't know and the only part about that which bothers him is it makes Majima vulnerable. Instead of worrying about Majima locking up, Nishitani should worry about being there to cover instead. ] You don't need any fucking help unless you ask for it. That's how we do it.

[ He gives the man the most withering stare. He can say that now all he wants, but the actions and the questions that have come before speak otherwise.

And Majima knows what he did: in agreeing to let Nishitani rip up the bastards who used him. He opened a door that has been pushed on ever since by someone who just wants to consume. He wants it, to just leave the door open and just let go.

He hates that about himself. ]

Just fuckin' stop.

Are you trying to break up with me? [ They never put that fine of a point on their relationship, but there's only one thing they could be anymore. Nishitani stops his pacing, that manic energy coming to a point. He wants his tanto in his hand, but doesn't want to escalate things quite yet. He's still got shit to talk about. ]

How do ya figure we're fuckin' together that way when I don't trust ya not t'head fuck me, Nishitani?

[ Is it because you are a deluded psycho? Majima's whole expression wrinkles with pain and he rubs his forehead. He hates everything about this. ]

That-- [ Of all the things to make Nishitani actually shut up, swallow his tongue, for a kind of fury to erupt from him, irritation misting off him, catching fuchsia in the light ] You think so little of me. [ A growl, a growl and Nishitani won't pull out his knife, he won't, because fighting isn't what they need here. Fucking words, fuck words, he just wants to show Majima how he feels. ]

[ He can't, and so now they're here, in the backrooms of the Celestial. ] And all you want is to be proven right. Isn't that so, buddd ol' pal?

Fuck you. Ya said it yourself that ya ain't content with what I give, ya want everythin'. An' that's how it fuckin' feels when ya come at me.

Don't even know who th'fuck I am when ya drag me under with yer bullshit.

[ And he sounds upset about it, the hand pressed to his face lingers. He's trying to keep it together, but much more and he's going to snap. ]

It's fuckin' enough. I don't want ya in my head, are ya fuckin' hearin' me?

[ He's running out of ways to say it and his head aches. ]

Fine! [ Nishitani relents, because he loves Majima. Everything he does sets the kid off and their water and oil meetings make Nishitani irritated, wanting to tear off his skin and Majima's too. Can't he see, they're meant to go down together, they're meant to go insane together. ]

[ Later, he'll think about these words more closely. He'll realize that for the two months and a little change he's been here-- he's been a thug. He's enjoyed being a thug, back like he had been in his teens. But what Majima needs isn't a thug, isn't someone with no fucking sense in their head-- ]

[ Nishitani was ranked the way he was back home for a reason. It's time to start practising again, but again, this realization will come later. ]

Get outta my fucking sight.

[no_kyouken]

[ He slams his hand down on something with a snarl, good eye narrow. He didn't want to be here in the first fucking place. If his hand had landed on anything even remotely heavy, he would have thrown it but it's Nishitani's lucky day. ]

Stay away from me, Nishitani.

[ Or the next one of these conversations is ending in blood and broken bones. He cannot possibly leave fast enough. ]
