OOC Context: Yuri is coordinating relief efforts for the displaced Kappa and mods have approved temp housing for them in a warehouse provided by the Alliance. He'll need help from Lost Souls to get supplies there! Sutoku members will receive a message from him. If your muse is not Sutoku but would like to pitch in, you can assume word got out through the grapevine.

Hi gang. Been a fun month, hasn't it? Especially for our Kappa friends.

On a serious note, the Kappa are in need of shelter. I spoke with the Alliance and they've agreed to convert an unused warehouse to housing space. I'm looking for help with set up and supplies, as well as with getting the word out.

Message me if you can lend a hand. Every bit helps.

[ If you express interest, Yuri will follow up with details and the address of the warehouse. He'll ask you to use discretion who you share the location with since he doesn't want to attract trouble for the Kappa.

When you reach the location, you'll find a warehouse with running electricity and racks that have been pushed to one side to make room. The warehouse has been sectioned off into a sleeping area, a common area, and a storage area that the Kappa have been filling with equipment they've managed to retrieve from underground. ]





[ Yuri will be seeking volunteers to serve food at the food lines the Alliance has negotiated for from local restaurants. We'll need drivers to help transport nonperishable donations to the warehouse. People to carry it all. Bookkeepers to track the numbers. Anyone willing to network with nearby businesses to procure supplies or temp jobs for the Kappa to get back on their feet. Idk... morale boosting activities? Maybe someone can hook up a karaoke machine. Feel free to bring your own ideas!

[ it's not that he's unappreciative of what yuri's done. the scent of blood touches his nose and he shivers. how can he resist a gift like this, even after he's warned yuri? that this is way more than just a few little dots on the top of the hand and he certainly wouldn't be gorging himself on it.

no... he's still hesitant. even though his heart is pounding so loudly in his ears that he can't hear anything else, he knows he has to control himself as best as possible.

small. just clean up yuri's palm.

slowly, robin drags his tongue from the bottom of the cut to the top before pressing his lips into the center, parting them once he's sure he can just... try to keep it from getting worse? or something? he doesn't know, all he knows is that the taste is incredible.

the tiniest vampire 'kiss', just for yuri. ]

It's alright, songbird.

[ Yuri murmurs when he notices Robin's hesitance. He won't keel over from a little blood loss. It stings, but the gentle kiss Robin presses to his skin tickles and offsets the sensation. His other hand reaches out to clasp his friend's shoulder, giving it a squeeze of reassurance. ]

This is no different from sharing a meal. If it bothers you, how about you treat me to a snack later and we'll call it even? And I'll be asking you to lift more things for me. Be prepared.

[ He teases. Robin has nothing to pay him back for, of course, but Yuri wouldn't want him to hold back out of a sense of guilt. ]

[ it is very, very different compared to sharing a meal, but he's not in a position to refuse at this point. no... wasted blood is bad blood. so even though he takes yuri's blood, part of him hates the fact that what he's doing is necessary.

and once he's done, robin's quick to pull off and immediately wipe his lips off. there's nothing cute about bloody lips, though the most obvious feature from him properly 'eating' for the first time in a long time... his eyes.

I... I will! I'll bring you the nicest slice of cake and a drink to go with it...

[ Yuri's glad to see him ease into it. It's been two moons since their first meeting, not an insignificant amount of time if Robin has been abstaining from drinking.

Rest assured, there's no way Robin doesn't look cute, even with a smear of blood on his lips and a mysterious red glow in his eyes. ]

The nicest cake, hm? I look forward to it.

[ And he's not simply speaking platitudes. He does have a sweet tooth. ]

[ wow... you really think he's cute, yuri? once he's done making sure his face is mostly clean, he still looks down at that cut hand.

so without hesitation, he reaches down and tears off a strip off of one of those blankets. with some proficiency, he can at least wrap up that wound so it won't continue to bleed. ]

I'm no doctor, but... hope this'll be enough!

[ Right.. he should get his wound taken care of. Yuri holds still as Robin ties the makeshift bandage around his hand. ]

That'll do, thanks.

[ It's not a serious injury, though there are probably safer ways to donate blood these days. Only someone from the medieval times will think using a knife is a good idea. But Yuri doesn't mind it, if it's to help a friend. ]

[ he's just happy he can help, and he'll have to work double with yuri's hand like that... at least, that's what robin assumes.

and though the taste of the blood on his tongue is still fragrant and sweet, he doesn't want to think of anyone who's a friend as a meal. a way to survive. no, he can make do as is without it.
