1. WELCOMING COMMITTEE

The influx of Lost Souls means the factions need to have a little welcoming party of sorts. The leaders of each faction each send a message to their new recruits, telling them to meet at their respective headquarters.

The Shuten Clan directs their new recruits to the Arena. There’s plenty of food and booze to go along with the exhibition matches from the toughest fighters they’ve got. Enjoy the view or get involved in an arena fight, if you’re feeling spicy. If bloodsport isn’t your cup of tea, there’s a number of gambling games to partake in, too – don’t worry, your money isn’t at stake here, unless you want it to be.

The Tamamo Clan recruits are sent to the brothel Mizukume. Hosts of all sorts are there to fill your every need. If you’re not one to be doted on, there’s also exotic dancers in every state of undress for you to look at. You may be tasked with being a host or a dancer yourself. If you’re not in the mood for that, there’s plenty of food from Tamamo-controlled restaurants to eat and seemingly endless drinks. The drinks may or may not have a little something extra in them, so check the labels carefully.

The Sutoku Alliance meets at the nightclub Konoha. It’s truly a celebration with an enormous amount of fast food from every joint in their district and an equal amount of cheap drinks. Sing your heart out with live band karaoke – don’t worry about them not knowing your song, they seem to have a depth of knowledge beyond this world. Once that settles down, there’s plenty of dancing to do or you can be a wallflower, whatever suits your mood.

The Department of the Enma meets at a meeting room on the top floor of Kaigo no Bou. The room is uncomfortably opulent and wouldn’t be out of place in a Heian imperial court. Fine silk tapestries cover the walls, richly lacquered wood is inlaid with gold, and it all feels like it was decorated by someone with more money than taste. There’s fine food and even finer drink available. Various multi-armed youkai play in a jazz band, playing their instruments in a much more complicated manner than strictly necessary. Stretch your legs and dance. Take a peek out the window for a bird’s eye view of the city. If the interior is too stuffy for you, escape to the roof for some fresh air – just be careful not to fall off.

2. PARTY TIME

After everyone’s had their fill of food, drink, and entertainment: the party isn’t over. They’re told to make their way to Konoha with the instruction to show their faction’s pride. That’s a careful way to tell them to raise hell. Upon arrival, all recruits are provided with an advance on their pay by The Enma. Food is provided by the Shuten Clan, a variety of all sorts of meaty foods. Drinks are provided by the Tamamo Clan, but be wary because some may have that special Tamamo kick to them (read: aphro). It’s technically a neutral meeting place, but there’s almost certain to be a fight sooner or later. Entertain yourself, meet the other factions, and raise some Hell.

[ that's so sweet of junpei to ask... to have enough sense to do so while also being kind. innocent. maybe he should've asked him first about their initial kiss, but he didn't think of it as anything but something he would do to anyone that he considered a friend.

though, he also would do it as a way of politely greeting someone so. so... ]

Of course. [ how could he refuse junpei with such an earnest question? ] You never have to ask.

[ because it's coming from a good place. obviously. ]

[ Joy bubbles up in Junpei’s chest at the go ahead. He reaches down to take one of Robin’s hands in his, giving it a little squeeze. Then he leans in, heart thumping in his chest as he gently presses their lips together. With Robin he wants to be as caring and soft as possible, only giving the tiniest bit of suction to the action.

His eyes flutter closed as he takes in the moment, a content sigh running through him. This is feeding the needy desire born from the aphrodisiac, at least for the moment. ]

[ he can feel junpei's initial trepidation fading upon impact, lips touching lips causing robin's heart to also stir. a tender moment despite their surroundings, where their isolation and privacy serves to keep it private. a world all for themselves. the young vampire tilts his head, allows their kiss to deepen without too much push.

it's a pleasant feeling, the tingle of knowing what they're doing is very much an intimate thing, combined with a tension that he didn't know was there a moment ago. that he wants junpei to be happy and that his happiness would make robin feel better about everything too. ]

[ The problem with a kiss under these circumstances is it’s going to be hard to keep it a simple kiss. The little taste makes him want more, and soon he’s not just sticking to the basics, he’s starting to act hungrier. There’s a low whine as he parts their mouths to suckle teasingly on Robin’s bottom lip, giving the smallest nibble to it before pulling away. His eyes are glassy from the haze he’s in, and he shifts a little in his seat. ]

Nn, Robin ... I’ve ... never done this kind of thing with anyone before. I don’t know why I suddenly ... want to do a lot more with you.

[ He wraps his arms around the other, pulling him flush to his body and more or less into his lap. ]

It must be because you’re so cute.

Cute...

[ a light and shuddery moan flutters from his chest. of course he knew he had charm and appeal, and to some extent he also knew there was a kind of person that liked robin's overall bright pink and innocent visage.

but for junpei to suddenly want these things? robin's somewhat fearful of taking advantage of the other boy. someone as earnest as junpei shouldn't be hurt in that kind of way.

still... ]

I'm glad you think so. [ a pause, before he repositions himself, making sure to fill that lap as much as possible with himself. ] Whatever you want... I'll try with you.

Really?

[ He looks at the other in complete awe for a moment before going in excitedly for another kiss. Inexperienced but so full of honest desire, tasting the other like he’s quenching a deep thirst within him. Like he’s parched.

His hands go to where the hem of Robin’s top is, quivering slightly from the thrill of it. It was all happening at such a breakneck pace, he could hardly keep his thoughts in order. He was even having a hard time remembering they weren’t alone. Did it really matter that they weren’t? Others seemed not to care as they gave in to fits of passion, some were even farther in the throes of debauchery than they were. ]

... can I see you? See more of you? Feel more of you?

[ this kiss nearly takes his breath away. to offer himself to junpei, even for the most minor or major possibilities of exploration and perhaps experimentation... why does he feel so open to do so? robin couldn't disagree with the argument of being a people pleaser in general, and he's more than aware of what kinds of entertainers happen to be out there--- and even here, too.

if this is what tamamo is supposed to mean and represent, then... he doesn't feel so bad. there are worse people out there for sure. junpei is the exact opposite of them, whoever they are.

so he returns the kiss, lowers his head so he can nose at junpei's throat. ]

Yeah. All you want.

[ Even with the permission he’s so nervous, hands dipping beneath fabric gently. The feel of skin against skin is so heavenly, his breath catches in his throat.

He takes another kiss, exploring Robin’s stomach and chest with his fingers. It’s clear he has little idea how to properly feel someone up, excitedly going from one area of interest to the next, eventually he’ll bring his hands back out from beneath the top.

His eyes dare to look lower, to Robin’s lap. Even under the influence the idea of exploring there seems overwhelming. He rubs circles just above his hip bones. Thinking. Overthinking. ]

You’re so nice to me ... but I feel so mixed up. I don’t really know what I’m doing.

[ electric. that's how he'd explain junepi's touch. it doesn't really matter who the inexperienced one is here; when it's someone else doing it, the sensation is a tingling and pleasurable mess that makes robin exhale in the other boy's ear. that he presses closer, shoulders raising with every sharp and shallow breath.

why does he feel this way? perhaps it's his inherent nature wanting to make people happy, to bring smiles and laughter, or... something a little more darker isn't really his brand. not that he can't recognize it for what it is, but is that what the tamamo clan sees in him?

[ dangerous words to someone who might take advantage of him or perhaps, use them against him. but it's junpei. ]

Maybe it's still being somewhere far from home that makes you feel a little off. I understand that completely too.

[ He struggles to think clearly through the haze of the aphrodisiac that’s telling him to just cuddle and kiss and rub. This isn’t how he usually feels, right? That’s probably what’s bothering him. Not that Robin isn’t attractive - he’d think so no matter what - but how he’s acting towards him isn’t normal.

There’s a whimper of frustration as he wraps his arms around Robin’s back to just hug him for a little bit, to feel his warmth. ]

I’m sorry. I believe you when you say it’s all okay, but I feel like ... this isn’t me. That tea ... I think it messed something up. I wanna ... see you again when I’m normal. Then I’ll know what to do.

[ when he's normal...?

robin immediately feels bad. he likes junpei! the embrace is welcome; it has a different connotation attached to it, which makes him gently sigh. he can still smile, too. ]

Like I said: what makes you happy makes me happy. It's not like we're going anywhere any time soon.

[ the tea... maybe he should've been more careful.
