I. Substory #3 Drifter Grifter

[He looks tiredly at the list of crimes of this grifter and for a moment he wonders if Bradley's out there stealing again? He's probably stealing, but is this specifically Bradley or just some idiot he doesn't have to care about?]

Okay, so what did this guy look like? Did he even have any information or was he just dining and dashing?

[Are there, for some reason, giant windows in your bathrooms? How is this guy getting out so easily?]

II. City of Rain, before hours
[Now more than Ever Nero's grateful to have his shop. An oasis of calm in the middle of the din of Jigokuchou. Of course, the quiet rule doesn't come into effect until the shop actually opens. Sometimes it is nice to be able to talk to his employees without having to write everything down on paper.

He has been cooking a little earlier than usual, but that might be because of the new hire. Bradley? Just somebody from home. At least it's very normal for Nero not to say much about himself.

He does send out a text to everyone who works there.]

Breakfast on Friday at 10 if you want to come early.

[ It only makes sense, there's a lot of ground to cover and a lot of places that need to be evacuated. ]

[ That pot will dissolve if it gets further than two blocks away from him. He'd rather not have anybody panic from seeing it. ]

Nero, I appreciate your help but I cannot have a civilian with me. I have to keep moving.

[ and move she does, powerwalking out of the room and out the building while carrying the bomb pot with her. ]

[ hhhh. He follows. Man, he would really love to not have to be near the bomb. Unfortunately, that's not in the cards today. ]

If you get too far from me, the pot will disappear.

[ gonna start pounding the pavement now; her motorbike is just a few blocks away. ]

[ Nero, despite seeming like your normal, average cook, can keep up with her without getting winded.

It- I summoned it. It has a max range of two blocks away from me, or it'll dissolve.

I know that, but what element do you have an affinity for?

[ maybe it's like with barton where they don't have visions but can do crazy stuff without them anyway...? ]

I don't have a specific element. [ Assuming all wizards have some ability to work with all elements. ] Mostly I work with objects. So... Whatever that is?

[ They're doing the walk and talk. ]

[ Why not just tell her. It's not like anybody is effectively keeping his wizard secrets in hell. ]

[ see this is the most difficult thing bc if mondstadt has witches then surely, SURELY they'd have wizards? please??? where are my men in huge wizard hats, hoyo.

but anyway she arrives at her motorbike, and she plops the pot onto nero's hands before hopping on and turning on the engine. ]

[ He does as he's told, because sometimes he's not a difficult disaster. Only sometimes.

He can hold onto to the pot even without his hands, but it's easier to keep denying it if fewer people see him making use of his magic.

So he uses one hand to hold the pot and the other to grip onto the motorbike. He's never been on one of these before. ]

[ can he do that? hopefully he'd be able to hang on like that, because eula's going to strap on her helment, rev the engine, and nyoom off without warning. she's actually faster than usual whenever she's on a bike -- nothing persona, she just likes going very fast in general.

at least she can navigate through traffic rather seamlessly despite her speed. ]

Are you doing all right over there...?!

[ she shouts over the loud thrum of the engine. ]

[ Oh no it's like being on a broom ride with Rutile, he's having a time of it. It's not terrible, but he wasn't expecting the speed of it at all. ]

[ He's not falling off, at least. ]

[ not him comparing her driving to rutile........ well, so long as he's fine. she weaves through traffic and various debris and crowds, picking up the pace--

until they stop. a throng of enma people are nearby, which must be the ones eula needs to meet with when it comes to the bombs. ]

[ she hops off the bike, takes off the helmet and shakes her hair. ]

Give me the bomb. I will take it from here.

[Nero is not getting off of the bike, but he does hand her the pot.]

Let me know when you're done with it.

[So he can leave and get out of this place that's crawling with cops. Some of them are fine, but this many makes his skin crawl.]
