[Unfortunately Cain was reminded of a kitten he and his friends had rescued out of the water once. The thing had looked just as soaked and bedraggled as Hizen did right now and it was hard to not go over there and wrap him in his coat.

Well, his coat was also soaked anyway. He shook some of the excess water off like a dog, before kneeling down to check on his friend.]

Hey, you okay? You didn't swallow any water, did you?

(It's wet on top of more wet and it doesn't feel particularly great but Hizen isn't so much of an asshole that he's going to turn this down. He'll allow it for now and he just coughs once more,)

... No.

(He did. But it's all gone now.)

[Cain is absolutely not believing him especially as he coughs, but Hizen was talking, and that was the best sign he could ask for. That meant he wasn't choking. Now the big concern for both of them is getting cold, though it thankfully wasn't winter. He tentatively reaching out to try and touch the guy's back if only for a small gesture of comfort.]

Is your...ah, blade form? That part of you okay too?

(Sword held tightly in his hand... he's actually going to hold it up and draw it now. Sword on the wet grass, he turns his scabbard upside down to let the water out. Nothing about this feels good. )

Feel gross. (He gives his scabbard a shake.) ... Ugh.

(Water drips, drops from the scabbard and Hizen is quiet for just a second.

Drip, drop....)

[As someone human shaped it already felt gross to be wet, so he couldn't imagine what it was like if he was an actual sword. But thankfully it didn't look like he'd been under enough for any damage to occur to either of his forms.

That being said...]

No problem. You sure you're okay? We should get you to dry off at least. Did someone push you? I think I only heard you up there on the bridge...
