(It wouldn't be the first time his day drinking habit came back to bit him in the ass. You'd really think he'd learn by now. He thought he would have been safe avoiding the Tamamo bars but some of the unaffiliated places had bought into the hottest new mixes. This is what Hizen gets for trying to be cheap.

By the time he's finished and left the bar, he thinks he's happily tipsy. And truthfully, that's all it is but the effects of whatever potions had been mixed into the new drinks he'd had have also taken effect.

Yuuji can find Hizen... running his mouth as some Enma grunts that decided to question him for some reason,)

Why're ya actin` all shy now?

(He says while leaning close to one of them. He has no reason to get so up in their personal space. They seem kind of uncomfortable. Are they being threatend or flirted with? They don't know.)

You were lookin' at me first. C'mon. You wanna go? Ain't had a good fight in awhile...

(The officers spot Yuuji passing by and give a desperate sort of look. Please, they're being harassed by some Shuten delinquent. One of the grunts nudges the other. They're pretty sure this kid is an officer? "You're kidding, right?"

Hizen is going to turn to look at Yuuji, a lazy smile on his face.)

If it ain't Apollo. Heh... I'll take ya too.

[ when he was called over by one of the newbies to defuse a difficult situation, he didn't expect to walk into this! in which yuuji sighed, tugging his phone inside his pocket; hizen must've had a few drinks and lost himself in this mess ...

with a smile, he gestures for the other officers to leave and reassured them that it will be taken care of. he then turns his attention on his dear friend, somewhat amused to catch him so out of it like this. ]

... apollo? [ slow blink, and then he gasped. ] Hizen-san! That's so mean!

[ THE AUDACITY. ]

(The other officers wander off, not sure about what just happened. They really can't tell if they were being hit on or threatened. Weird. As for Hizen, he definitely looks a little flushed in the face and he smiles, )

Nah, it's sweet. (And he's already moving to get into Yuuji's space too. He's not the type to get so close to others so this is definitely unusual,) Y'know, 'cause it's chocolate.

(In fact, he even reaches out to grab a hold of Yuuji's shirt so he can pull him closer. Right down to his height. Ah, something about right now, though. Yuuji looks handsome when he's up close like this? Wow, that sure is a random thought and somehow, the signals get crossed in Hizen's head and--)

C'mon. Jus' a quick fight.

[ something's off— hizen is not just drunk, is he? he had never seen him like this before, so bold and forward. when he was forced to get on his level, hunching down and getting in his space, that's when yuuji's eyes fluttered wide open. his heart almost skipped a beat, pounding hard behind his chest.

'c'mon. Jus' a quick fu-' ........

wait, fight? he's asking for a fight while pulling that face and that energy?!! this is so confusing! it still left yuuji flustered, and he pulls away, gently reaching out to link their arms together. ]

Fine, let's have a fight. But first ... walk with me.

[ yeah, he's dragging this intoxicated sword back home where it's safe. the idea of someone taking advantage of hizen like this stressed him out. ]

(If Yuuji thinks it's confusing then it just means he hasn't met enough sword spirits. Fighting is just flirting if not outright foreplay. It makes sense why the signals are getting crossed.

His smile widens when Yuuji agrees. He's agreeing for real, right? If he's lying, he'll make sure Yuuji pays.)

Hah! (He actually laughs,) Knew I could count on ya.

(Ah, it's easy enough to lead Hizen away, though. He even leans against Yuuji as they walk. It feels nice being close like this. It feels...)

[ he certainly hasn't met any other sword spirit yet, so this is a whole new experience to him— one that he doesn't dislike. if anything, watching hizen be this cozy with him made his cheeks burn up and his heart beat a little faster than normal.

regardless of temptations, he kept reminding himself that hizen is probably under the influence, and not to get too excited. for once, yuuji isn't sure what to do with his arms? conflicted between what is right and what is not. everything seemed like he might be taking advantage of the situation, so HE'LL JUST KEEP LEADING HIM HOME. ]

... What did you drink?

[ if there is a specific drink out there that's causing harm, yuuji might need to warn others. ]

Didn't drink much. (That wasn't even the question. He holds up two fingers in front of him as he walks. ) Just two.

Got to try a new one since I'm a regular.

(A new drink to go on the menu featuring new, popular ingredients. Hizen had no reason to doubt it? Honestly, the owner probably didn't even raelize the true nature of the syrup he'd mixed in with his experimental drink.)
