Definitely takes too damn long.

[ Goromi observes lazily. She made time for this, but they proposed it weeks ago. Majima is a bit busy to be rolling croquettes on the regular. She pokes at the croquettes, turning the heat up just a little to make up for what is being lost to the room temperature food. ]

[starshepard]

Indeed. [ She chuckles. ]

If I'm hungry I'd much rather have my food sooner than later.

[ She's not sure if turning up the heat is a good idea but she's not going to make a fuss of it. The logic that more heat would make it cook faster makes sense to her. ]

[ The first few get a little too dark... But after fiddling with the temperature, they finally come out. It doesn't take too much longer, they're put out on a little rack to cool. Most of the other couples in the room are finishing up too, chatting and taste testing. Some snout-nosed yokai comes to greet them cheerfully and ask how they met, what a cute couple. ]

I don't quite remember, a lot's happened since then.

[ She laughs to herself, deeply amused to be caught up in this normie conversation. ]

[ They might be dark but Azem considers them a success. But at least the two of them seem to figure out the temperature and timing. Azem is excited to give it a try once they're done.

While Goromi might deflect, Azem immediately responds with, ] bathhouse. [ Not really thinking about how that could sound.

It might not exactly be the truth but that was the first time Azem met Goromi. ]

[ She laughs to herself. Oh, that sounds a little bawdy doesn't it. The yokai laughs too, more self-consciously about it. Goromi just offers her a croquette with a lazy smile and sends her on her way. ]

An' that time we snuck in t'the Alliance offices.

[ Which one would have been more scandalous? It doesn't matter, Goromi just grins to herself as they clean up. ]

So whaddya think? Kinda fun?

Oh, yes, there was that. [ Azem chuckles. They personally think sneaking into the Alliances offices to be more scandalous. ]

Cooking? Yes, I suppose so. Messy, though. I'd much rather have other kinds of messy fun.

[ Azem say with a grin as they help clean up. ]
