I. Restaurant hunting | Edges of Tamamo territory

[Or maybe more accurately, he's looking at several of the buildings in the area. He's not quite ready to buy or rent property and start a shop, but it's good to know what's around the Tamamo area. He's avoiding places that are extremely expensive and spending more time around the corners of the district, bordering between the other faction areas.

He has a notebook out and writing up notes about the areas, even if it's not about specific buildings.]

II. Mr. Libido | Tamamo

[Sometimes you end up with leadership positions you weren't really looking for! Here he is with his one star and one star responsibilities and he's staring down this man dancing in front of a restaurant.]

If you ain't gonna leave, I'll make you.

[Which is a weird threat from somebody who's wielding a butter knife, a fork and a spoon. The threat remains.]

III. Who says no to free food?

[Has Nero said he was going to cook for you?

If he said he was going to cook for you, he's shown up at your door with a grocery bag of ingredients and the intent to cook. You wouldn't turn him away would you? ]

B | Tamamo Apartments
[If he hasn't specifically told you he was going to cook for you, he's still living in the starter Tamamo apartments for now. Figuring he has to do something for his fellow Tamamos, he's left his door open and is inviting people in to grab a meal in the morning. There's a full spread of warm scrambled eggs, freshly baked bread, sausage and bacon and several pitchers of juices. There are also some bowls of fresh fruit, if you'd rather have that.

No milk, no matter where you look.]

You should eat somethin' in the morning.

[What did he say? Slap him if it's becoming too much? He doesn't know how much Aster needs to drink, but it seemed like it was less if it was magical. Nero doesn't feel fully drained, not after just a few moments of this.

His heartbeat speeds up. The need to survive starts kicking in, but he's trying to be a decent enough meal that Aster doesn't have to immediately ask for somebody else.

The vampire venom, or bite, doesn't do exactly what it's meant to. Nero isn't getting riled up the same way Aster is. When Aster's hands go down there's a twitch of his arms like he's fighting the urge to slap him away. Just a little more, and then he'll get away.]

[--that's not the normal rocketing pulse that he's used to. There's something-- he's twitching, minute, but still there, and honed into Nero's very veins as he is, Aster instantly stiffens and starts withdrawing.

It might be nothing. The jitters of a first-timer. But he'll never prove Master Huey right on bloodsucking, at least; the very thought of it is enough to make what was seconds prior pure ambrosia curdle in his gut.]

...Hey.

[Both hands are on Nero's shoulders now, legs tucked away under their owner and mouth still idly cleaning the wound. ...Look, it's still delicious fucking food, and he's not going to disrespect what's been given up here. Aster just...Needs to be sure.] Sorry~ I got ahead of myself...I knew you'd taste good, but you really are something else. I kind of forgot myself for a second and treated you like I would've treated my Master! Sorry, sorry~

[One last lick over the puncture marks, before he slithers off the mattress altogether, careful to keep his back to Nero so that the guilt plain on his face doesn't burden both of them.] If you're feeling dizzy, lay down. I'll get the supplies, so you'll feel better soon ♡

[Aster does a great job of moving so Nero isn't looking at him, if only because Nero's eyes are closed. He's breathing and fully alive, but it's good(?) to know that vampire venom doesn't affect him in the way it was supposed to, if only for future events.]

You drank a lot from your master?

[Honestly, he doesn't feel that terrible, but he does lay down. Probably best to eat and refuel before he leaves, even if they aren't going to be using that full two hours.]

...Accidentally. I stopped in time, of course! But it was close.

[Pre-programmed preference is a bitch to deal with, but at least Eiden hadn't seemed too put off by it...Then again, he got two orgasms out of the deal, a full gamut of the aphrovenom, so...It was probably easier to swallow that revelation still riding high.

Aster's standing by the bag of croissants, trying to force his face to look normal for a few seconds, but-- who cares about his stupid face. The important part is to perform due diligence and care, and always has been. With his butlers, with his Master, and now with this magic-dense, immune outlier. Back over he trots, arms laden with Goodies, to sit by Nero's head and administer that aftercare.] He enjoyed it a lot more, so I don't think he minded quite so much. And it's easier to be mindful of that sort of thing now that I know what he tastes like. Same with you ☆ I won't gorge myself and push you so hard now that I don't have as much risk of forgetting myself, right?

...Do you want to eat or drink first? And-- some of the boys liked a little cuddling or hair-stroking once I was done with them, if they got a little freaked out by what happened. Do you want that too?

[Nero opens his eyes to look back at Aster, now that he's close. His expression stays calm and steady, gold meeting pink. It's not the worst he's ever had, though his body doesn't betray any of his old wounds.]

Eat.

[There's a moment where he stays lying down, before he sits up and opens a hand face up. His pastry, please.]

I'm fine, just wasn't expectin' you to go so hard.

[One choco croissant, still faintly warm. Not completely wasted.

...Aster does not meet Nero's gaze, all the same.] Sorry~ It's also-- I never fed off of my first Master, so I don't actually get to drink blood that's so full of essence that often. My current Master was the first, and then here with Azem, then you...

I should've known better ☆ I always go a little hard when someone's just that delicious, and no one's ever not-- Um, anyway~

[Better to distract himself. He starts nibbling on his own croissant, humming tunelessly between bites.] I'm glad you're okay, senpai! That's what's most important to me. Here, here~ [And he fishes one of those electrolyte drinks out of the other bag, blue flavour, and cracks it open.] You've helped me out...I'll be good to go for a week, with how potent you are! And it was a learning experience for us both ♡

You never fed off him? Like he didn't let you drink from him or what?

[He's eating his croissant, put at ease with the delicious pastry in his mouth. Nero takes the drink with the other hand, tucking it next to his thigh.]

...I didn't need to. He was so powerful that I could just be at his side, and absorb his essence that way...

[The next bite of croissant is a lot bigger, a lot more violent, but at least he makes a fine show of brushing the flakes off of his thigh. Easier to hide the burgeoning shame and guilt that way, if he's distracted.] And he made sure that I knew how filthy he thought it was, so I never really did it until I figured out that he wasn't coming back any time soon--

So that's why I want to take care of you! I don't want anyone to think that about what I do~

[That's interesting.

He breaks the seal on the drink and takes a sip, gaze staying on Aster.]

Rude guy, to get you used to eatin' by standing there, then disappearing after saying all that. [To get somebody used to eating "clean" so to speak, and then making it so Aster had no other choice but to bite to get his fill. Nero has his fair share of problems, but at least nobody ever shamed him for how he ate.]

[Even more fucked up to make a vampire, specifically shape your familiar into a vampire, and then shame him for drinking blood. Thanks, Huey! Bitch.]

He was just a funny, easily bored sort of guy! That's all. And-- I could probably feed like that still, if I found someone half so powerful as him, but...I just like drinking blood, now that I've tried. It's entirely different, and it's slightly more efficient than other methods.

[Like the incubus method. Good only for stupid bitches or the most desperate, as far as he's concerned.] Actually, maybe I should just absorb ambiently from you...You must be close to what he'd taste like, I think.

[ Aster, have you considered your master sucks? Nero's face stays in that careful neutral he keeps when he's judging somebody. ]

You think so? I'd think somebody who's been around longer would have stronger magic to drink.

[He would if he could.

If he could. But-- NO MORE HUEY. At last, he's game to make eye contact and force a huge smile back onto his face, one hand patting Nero's knee in some confusion of comfort and enthusiasm.]

There's someone stronger than you, even? You're preeeeetty potent as is...But then, I also never tasted Master Huey, so it's kind of skewed all around. You're a very good s--

Um! Not that I'm saying this actually has to happen again, of course. Just that...You taste good.

For what that's worth~

[He really doesn't know what to do when he's getting comforted. It's been centuries since the last time somebody's done anything like that. Nero stares at the hand with some slight confusion, but he continues eating, thoughtful.]

If you get desperate I'm around.

[It's not that hard to find him.]

That's okay, that's okay~ There's a reason I made my request so public, and that was so that I didn't have to put pressure on any one person to help me.

So technically...You never have to help me again if you don't want to!

[Patting: not going as planned. Hm. Probably best to flit off soon, then, but first...Aster leans over a little, just to try and make sure that the bite mark's healing up a little already. He's seen what it looks like when it goes wrong right away, after all. As long as that red, shiny puffiness isn't present, then he can leave in clear conscience.] How're you feeling? I should probably leave you to your thoughts, but I just want to make sure you're all good to be left alone, first~

Did you get enough bites?

[The mark doesn't look bad, but Nero doesn't have any accelerated healing while he's in hell. Yet.]

I'm fine, really. Should be good to go after eatin' and drinking.

Enough for now. Between that and the bagged blood people love reminding me about, you're safe.

[Accelerated healing...Look, they have to make do. Nero surely knows how to take care of a wound without that sort of stuff, right? Aster believes in him!

At any rate, it's as good as can be expected, and he'd rather not outstay his welcome more than he's sure he already has. So-- he swoops in to smack a quick kiss on Nero's cheek, before getting up and stretching.] You can stay here for as long as you like or need, so long as it's not past the two hours~ Or not! The point is that I'm in your debt, and I haaaaate owing debts, so...I'll see you around, once I figure out how to repay it in full.

[Ah- despite how flirty he clocked Aster as, he somehow wasn't expecting the kiss. His face goes the slightest shade of pink as he nods.]

I'll be outta here in about an hour. Don't worry about the time limit.
