I. Restaurant hunting | Edges of Tamamo territory

[Or maybe more accurately, he's looking at several of the buildings in the area. He's not quite ready to buy or rent property and start a shop, but it's good to know what's around the Tamamo area. He's avoiding places that are extremely expensive and spending more time around the corners of the district, bordering between the other faction areas.

He has a notebook out and writing up notes about the areas, even if it's not about specific buildings.]


II. Mr. Libido | Tamamo

[Sometimes you end up with leadership positions you weren't really looking for! Here he is with his one star and one star responsibilities and he's staring down this man dancing in front of a restaurant.]

If you ain't gonna leave, I'll make you.

[Which is a weird threat from somebody who's wielding a butter knife, a fork and a spoon. The threat remains.]

III. Who says no to free food?

A | Your apartment

[Has Nero said he was going to cook for you?

If he said he was going to cook for you, he's shown up at your door with a grocery bag of ingredients and the intent to cook. You wouldn't turn him away would you? ]

B | Tamamo Apartments
[If he hasn't specifically told you he was going to cook for you, he's still living in the starter Tamamo apartments for now. Figuring he has to do something for his fellow Tamamos, he's left his door open and is inviting people in to grab a meal in the morning. There's a full spread of warm scrambled eggs, freshly baked bread, sausage and bacon and several pitchers of juices. There are also some bowls of fresh fruit, if you'd rather have that. 

No milk, no matter where you look.]

You should eat somethin' in the morning.

A small restaurant? Oh, how exciting!

[It's good to have a goal. That seems add something to his line of thoughts... He try to get a peek at the man's notes.]

What kind of restaurant? That might help you figure out a spot.

[His notes are pros and cons of all the different places he's visited so far. Some of them have "Too expensive" and other are "Too loud".]

Nothin' too fancy. Warm and homey meals, really. Somethin' that can provide some comfort.

That sounds wonderful. You should set up someplace away from the more lively restaurants. But also easy to travel to, for both young and old.

[The loud places that likely have drunkards stumbling over? And think of the young and the elderly.

But hm... wanting to cook comfortable, homey meal. A familiar looking man, likely from EMBER. He looks at Nero's face.]

Correct me if I'm mistaken... are you Nero?

Do you have any suggestions on where would be good?

[ He figures somewhere further away from the middle of Tamamo would be way too loud. There's always something going on over there.]

Yeah. We talked before, right? On...line?

Assuming there's a spot, you can try along the border? I imagine even those in Tamamo might appreciate simpler meals sometimes.

[After a long, hard day (or night?) at work, a homey meal nearby to perk them up. Or something. It's only a suggestion. It's up to Nero to decide what kind of customer base he could get.

He smiles and nods.]

Yes, that's right. Over... EMBER I believe? We talked about the titles we got.

Oh, "bae blade"?

[Oh no. He only absorbed the title because it confused him so much. The name was long wasn't it? Was there an N in there?]

I'm Nero. [Yes, when in doubt introduce yourself, maybe he'll get this guy's name. It would be weird to pull out his phone and swipe to find it. This is workable.]

Uhahaha, yes! According to that interesting application, at least. I believed you got "chef"?

[Did he even understand what "bae" means? It's still a rather strange title, no matter how much he look it up.

He gives Nero a smile and nod.]

[There's a slight release of tension in Nero's shoulders. Name acquired, no need to be rude about it.]

Yeah, you too. If I remember right... you're in Enma? How's that going?

Being in the Department isn't so bad, just a tad tedious with the paperwork we have to do, haha!

[Should he say that... it's standard, safe complaint. Nothing sensitive at all. But he's smiling.]

My colleagues do make up for it, so it's enjoyable on most days.

I haven't had to deal with too much of that. [Just the restaurant kind. That's not nearly as tedious as actual business and police paperwork, he imagines.]

Yeah? You get along with 'em? Pretty good draw, if you ask me.

I like to think so. We manage to work together, and that's what counts.

[Honestly, they don't have to like each other to do their work. It just makes it nicer, and to pass the time easier in the office.]

Whenever you set up your restaurant, I hope you get good coworkers for it.

[ Nero's had to work with a number of people he didn't particularly like. That's just how it is when you don't get to choose your assignments. ]
