[OPEN] moving day!
Who ⬤ Minato, Eiichi, and anyone
What ⬤ July substories in a get-along “shirt” / knb camera footage / catchall post.
When ⬤ July to August because it’s already middle of the month orz

Content Warnings ⬤ Substory 2 has the naked guy? The camera threads may discuss elements of violence and horror imagery.
[ Around one of the Sutoku residential buildings, it’s a nice peaceful morning broken by the sound of an argument. What else is new. ]
[ The excuse for Minato’s presence this time (not that anyone in this building is buying it now) is he’s helping Tama with packing and moving. It’s a relatable plight to many others, honestly, after their residences were made uninhabitable after the cursed month. The arrival of their mutual friend Eiichi has only made the move that much more urgent. ]
[ That isn’t the cause of the argument. But it might be easy to guess, considering that for the rest of the day, Minato and Eiichi can be found together. Quite… literally together. Is… that a set of handcuffs…? ]
[ The sight of them makes for an odd mirrored effect, given their similar appearances. The only real difference is their expressions: Minato looks distinctly harassed, Eiichi has a permanent scowl — they do seem to be agreed on one thing: Doggedly go on with their day as if there is nothing weird about the situation. ]
(( All Substory logs below are duo threads with both Minato and Eiichi handcuffed together and trying to play it cool. Though if you’d rather only tag one or the other, it can be handwaved that they’d gotten out of this daft predicament at some point. [ And none of them want to touch them, do they. She sure doesn't. ]
There has to be a way to convince him to leave that isn't... er.
[ She mimics the shopkeeper's not-so-brilliant idea via the gesture. ]
But I don't think honorable combat would work very well, either. Sir, at this rate, all of the stores will be closed due to your actions and you'll be unable to shock anyone!

No, no, no no no, enough of that, they're both right, you might-- uh-- mean well, but nobody wants to hear it from you!
[ Someone is going to have to get close to the guy, and between his germaphobic friend and the teenager, Minato is reaching the dire conclusion that it's going to have to be him. He takes a half-step forward so he's between the other two and Mr. Libido, holding his free hand up to try and get the man to back off. ]
[ This is even more of a mistake because the man claps a hand on Minato's shoulder and starts talking about showing him around to those onsens, like he's his uncle and not a naked street man. ]
[ HELP? ]

[It made her sound like some kind of onna-musha. And yet somehow he's also sure that she's serious. Maybe Shuten was just like this.
But Eiichi's disgust was slowly edging into actual discomfort and impatience-- to say nothing when the man touches Minato's shoulders and steps forward, acting as though he'd known Minato since he was a kid. (Which was not only unacceptable on its own, but thanks to handcuffs he was a bit too close for comfort, too.)]
O-- Oi-!!
[He startles, and on impulse he lifts his foot up, driving his foot into the creepy man's stomach from where he was stuck at Minato's side, kicking him as far away from both Minato and Haru as he could.] What the hell do you think you're doing...?!
[Sorry Haru this is not a place of honor. Also he panicked.]

[ Haru is. Well. A bit horrified at everything that's going on. She doesn't have the investment(?) or loving concern(???) for Minato that Eiichi seems to possess(?!), but it's not as though she also approves of a scantily clad man getting so up close and personal with another faction member, so she can't even be too distraught at the fact that Eiichi takes action.
Maybe it's not the best action, but it's something. She'll forgive the lack of honor because some people clearly do not deserve it.
But her gaze is darting about, looking for something to help. Something to be useful. Just so she isn't standing there like a lump while this is happening. ]
