[ Perfect. This is just the excuse she needs. Clearly she has business to attend to so they'll just have to have their questions answered somewhere else. She walks with him until they're far enough away and then sighs with relief. ]

I thought they'd never stop. You deserve a favor.

[They're far enough for him to relax, and withdraw his hand away from her. Clearly, the reporters know better than to chase after the officers who are clearly busy.]

I know how bothersome they are. I wouldn't want anyone to get surrounded by them.

[Although to be fair, being a fellow Enma officer means he's more likely to help her. If it's anyone else outside of the Department, it depends on how he feel and if he likes them...]

It's not often I find a guy that doesn't want something from me.

[ Should she be offended? She isn't really. More intrigued if anything. Though even if he says he doesn't want anything she's already contemplating some way to pay him back. She would rather not be in anyone's debt ]

[From the sound of it, she seems used to offering something in return. He'll have to keep this in mind... he would likely take advantage of this for more minor things, really.]

I'm just a simple old man. I don't often ask for much, just good tea, snacks and company.

I've been called simple-minded myself. No reason to complicate things.

[ She likes the sound of that. Once basic needs are met she's pretty happy. She just wants to be useful. Throw in some validation and it's even better. ]

[ That would also make for a good opportunity to get to know her fellow officer. She never knows who she might be partnered with in future assignments. It would be good to know his strengths and weaknesses. She will try to be a normal person and not make this an interview... ]

Oh, I love all types tea. Green, black, oolong. If I have to pick, I'm partial to those that pairs well with sweets.

[As he answers, he looks carefully to see if they're being followed. Just in case those reporters choose to tail after them. Perhaps to ask one of them again, after their "business" is concluded?

He looks at Julietta, before gesturing to a direction. Let's go in this direction.]

I think it was mostly black tea that they had on the ship. Though I did try something herbal when I had trouble sleeping.

[ She looks back and relaxes her shoulders. Wherever they're going they should be able to stay ahead of them if they keep moving. Maybe they'll find someone else to bother. ]

You could try other types here. You never know when you'll find a new favourite.

[From traditional tea flavours to those from other lands, and all the way to the modernised experimental versions.

After a while, it seems like any reporters aren't following them. And they find themselves in a fairly lively area around or at Sutoku territory. There's some places around, from eateries to stalls selling street food.

Among them, there seems to be a rather cutely designed drinks place. The customers seem to be drinking something with little black orbs or other similiarly small objects in their see-through cups.]

[ She stops to look. What pretty colors. From a glance at the menu a lot of these look really good. This is tea also? It's nothing like she's seen before. Now she's interested. ]
