[ He nods, goes to grab vegetables out of some coolers. He shakes some ice water from them before moving over to a cutting board. He's a lazy and uninterested cook, but his knife skills are actually better than most; sharp, neat, even. ]

Until everybody's done eatin', I guess.

[ He gives one of the grills a cursory little scrub with a heavy metal-bristled brush, just in case that will help keep the meat bits off before he puts these vegetables down. He does not seem terribly bothered to miss out on all the beach fun. ]
