substory 1.A | OTA

[ initially, she had found it difficult to refuse all of the mochi being offered to her by the gyokuto. part of it was due to its cuteness, and the other: her sheer love of sweets.

yummy desserts, and rabbits... it had seemed like a lucky occurance for her at the time. first she'd eaten one, and then two, and then ... six... maybe eight?

now, as she finds herself stuck in the middle of a busy street, she can't help but feel completely stupid, though. this was the second time, now, that she'd been tricked by a rabbit here... ]

E-excuse me? [ it takes her a moment to get the words out between the chattering of her teeth. she doesn't think she's ever been so cold in her life, and she can't help but press into the warmth of this stranger's side, arms wrapped tightly around herself. she's shivering so hard she can't even figure out what to ask them, or even how to ask them for help.

she definitely should have stopped after the third mochi. ]

substory 1.B | OTA

[ there's a surge of energy rushing through her, racing under her skin. it makes her jittery and bouncy, far more aggitated than she's ever felt in her entire life.

she tries to run to burn some of the energy off, jumping and twisting through the air with graceful ease, leaping over the heads of passersby. the street was so busy, it was almost like she was using the pedestrians as an obstacle course, but none of it seems to do the trick. she needed to do more, to use more of her body, her strength --

it's with little thought that she suddenly tries to lift the next person who walks by her, trying her best to hoist them up above her head if they're light enough.

if she were at her full strength she would have been able to toss them, or benchpress them. ]

Sorry! But I really need to do this, right now!

[ at least she apologizes for it! ]

general | OTA

[ steam wafts up from the bowl set in front of her, fading into the crisp night air. she smiles at the owner of the stall, overjoyed at the sight of food. ]

Thank you so much! [ there was a steadily-growing pile of empty dishes where she sat at the ramen stall, towering well above her head already. trying to collect haniwa had built up her appetite again, and mitsuri is blissfully unaware of the crowd she's beginning to draw as she eats, of the people dithering to stop and stare. ]

Noodles are the best at night! [ she chirps to the shopkeep who, despite the strain on their small kitchen, seems to be intrigued. she continues to chatter away to them while she eats, although she'd easily notice if someone chooses to sit or stop close by.

she was definitely racking up quite the bill here, though. ]
