Deadliest Catch;
There is only one end for thoughtless creatures who can do nothing else but stand in their way:
Defeat and death.
Felix does note Bishop's look on his face, disapproving. Felix won't stop him from killing most of them because sometimes that is what you have to do in a life or death battle. But, all the same, he will aim for at least one to be spared. ]
Hmph. As expected, these creatures are far too foolish to do anything else other than charge mindlessly instead of open dialogue.
[ But Felix has seen them before, and knows their moves. They are stronger, but Felix has speed on his side. He aims a slash towards the back of legs that Bishop has cut, in order to help disable that one, though has to barely duck out of the trajectory of a charging creature. It looks like they're really mad now that the two are putting up quite a fight! ]
so sorry for the late reply - work and Elden Ring has me in a death grip
Can't expect them all to meet the minimum requirements to fight me.
[ Two isonade's see their downed comrade and rush Bishop who's changed his stance, simply swaying from side to side as the two swing and kick. Between these strikes, Bishop counters with shallow and precise cuts with each one done making it more difficult for each yokai to strike. ]
All good~
The only requirements they seem able to pass end up making them proficient in 'how to die a foolish death'.
[ As he sees this, he slams his foot into a face of the one who tried to get its bearings back so it could charge, knocking it off of its feet before he brings his blade down to keep it on the floor alongside its other similarly downed ally. ]

[ He says before swaying back and cutting across the chest of one of his current foes, then turning around and doing the same to the other. ]
-not all of them at least. We need them to talk after all.
[ With his current foes down on the ground he ran for the his next quarry only to stop short, and turn right around. ]
Reinforcements!
[ A few more isonade show up, this time armed with pipes, knives, and knuckle dusters. He captured their attention with good number chasing him as he free ran his way across the battle, ducking under swings and kicks, and having the isonade fumble into and over their reinforcements. ]

[ They're rabid, monstrous beasts who deserve to die, but he knows that they'll need at least one or two left over for the purposes of the mission. Either way, he's going to beat them into submission if they don't die.
Unfortunately, it seems like more have shown up. But...he will pull his blade out, giving it a slight swing to flick off some blood. ]
You know what they say about such trash. The bigger they are, the harder they'll fall!
[ Felix runs over to join them, and in fact moves with ease out of their own retaliatory movements. The dark-haired male has excellent reflexes and speed to thank for that. For a moment he'll even sheath his blade, and then swing with his foot to land a kick into the legs of the creature in order to unbalance it...and cause it to crash into another isonade. Essentially making those two look like fools and increase the amount of fumbling going on here. ]

He dashed low, losing speed and coming to a halt while turning, then bolting towads Felix's direction but leapt up and using the bodies in the way to jump up and over the newcomers. He drew his blade as he fell, bringing the blade down and trapping the isonade between him and Felix.
Quickly he dispatched his opponents, sharkmen falling disabled one after the other until he eventually stands face to face with Felix. ]
Good form.
[ Finding a good sword arm is a rare thing in his world so to find such people here was amusing to say the least. ]
Looks like we've made quite a mess of them. Wrap it up boys, and bring me one that can talk.
[ The onis with them all acknowledged his order as he stepped lightly towards the center of this chaos, waiting for the next fish man stupid enough to still try something. ]

[ Felix certainly isn't about to forget that anytime soon. Bishop's skill is commendable and though he's a harsh young man who'd sooner deride than give praise in most situations, someone having notable skill isn't something he'd pass on commenting.
Now, their current shark friends? Yeah, he doesn't think there's much to look at in terms of combat ability. Not to mention their evident clear willingness to fight dirty like the animals that they are. ]
Hmph. If they're wise enough enough, they won't struggle. They are evidently outmatched.
[ Some do look like they want to fight but are mostly in no state to, even as the oni continue to clearly search for one who can (or will) speak on the matter. Properly. ]

Or it would have if he didn't see it coming from yesterday. There's a roar of pain and its back in the floor just as quickly as it rose, a katana jammed into its shoulder. ]
Found one boys!
no subject
[ Honestly, Felix doesn't feel surprised at the attempt of the maneuver, though he crosses his arms just so as the creature seemed to consider struggling even in its position before finally truly giving in. It does help that there is a katana through the shoulder. ]
You're going to go with this one, then?
no subject
[ He stepped on the katana just as the pinned isonade was about to retort. ]
Awwwwright, shit-for-brains! Listen up and listen closely. The Shuten clan is taking over your operations from this day forward, so rejoice! Or not. Up to you, but I promise that trying to invoke your right to refuse allows me to invoke MY right to give the boys here a little slack on their reins.
[ Several oni grinned and snickered with delight at the thought. ]
So! Be a good little fish cake and answer my question, where are you guys hiding your stash?
no subject
[ Felix's statement more or less implying that it very well isn't, considering the situation. But, he lets Bishop take point with the comment he gives, folding his arms as he listens closely, and noticing that the isonade doesn't look particularly happy about this... arrangement.
Unsurprising, really. ]
We've taken out a good amount of your so-called friends.
And there is no way for you to weasel yourself out of this, so don't even bother.
[ But the creature seems reluctant still. Or perhaps out of a sense of pride it keeps it's mouth shut. For now. ]

Hey, pull that one up to his knees.
[ He says to the onis who does as he says, pulling an isonade up to before turning to Felix. ]
Make sure he doesn't get up.
[ He drew his blade from the shoulder and sheathed it and walked over to the kneeling isonade who growled at him once he was close enough. He turned on his heel to the isonade on the floor and locked eyes, then unceremoniously thrust his hand into the gills of the kneeling yokai and squeezed. The creature couldn't even scream but the onis reeled in disgust and shock while Bishop's smile widened. ]
.....Talk, or this one never will again.
no subject
How am I not even surprised it thought to try something?
[ Anyway, Bishop sure goes and does all of that, which even causes Felix to tense, his lip curling downwards.
...But, there's part of him that asks if it matters that they're treated like this? Hardly. Besides, they're subhuman. Monsters. These full-blooded demons probably deserve it, anyway. The one caught in the other man's strong grip flickers what it can of its gaze over to Felix, who barely looks moved now. ]
What are you looking at me for? I'm not the one that needs to be convinced. Tch, I suppose they don't really have much camaraderie after all.
[ But, it is just then that the pinned isonade seems to indicate it will now be willing to talk. Seems, is the keyword. Regardless, Felix casts his gaze back over at Bishop right after, interested to see if he will let the other yokai go. ]
