[ The box is handed off to another officer who disappears further into the building. She can't get rid of it soon enough. As soon as she gets the chance she's going to wash her hands, as if that will help. It sounds like he has some experience with these things. She needs to get it out of him and if he gives her trouble about it she's going to be unhappy again. ]

He gestured to the door then lead her into a nearby alley, far enough from the street to not be heard but close enough to spot anything or anyone approaching. ]
So where to start?...Well, first off these things aren't evil spirits or any kind of upset spirit. Atleast I don't they are. The seem more...primal. Raw.

[ And she would like to know the difference because neither of those examples make sense to her. Anything of use to her would be good to know. He doesn't seem to know a lot but it's already more than her. Between him and whatever else they manage to find out maybe they can take care of this problem before it gets worse. ]

[ He forgets, sometimes, that not everyone has dealt with the occult and macabre. Some actually only have to deal with people, which can arguably be worse. ]
You see, if it were a spirit they can be trapped or moved to something else. Hell, you could even force them to go to the otherside. This isn't that. I'm not exactly a hundred percent sure what they are. The behavior is erratic and impartial. Spirits with a grudge or regret usual have a preferred target, something with relation to their regret.
[ He rubs his head and eyes, dark circles under them implying he's simply powering through whatever he's dealing with. ]
Unless of course these guys just hated society as a whole.
no subject
[ She's starting to understand. It would be good to know what she's dealing with. What she's still not sure of it what to do with this information. If he has any suggestions she's listening. ]
Where have you been anyway?
no subject
[ Is all he says on that matter. No one needs to know what he's been up to. ]
Advice people to keep away, and if they gather in one area to call the cops. Chuck them out of the fucking city, bury them, hide them in a warehouse, whatever. Just do not break them.

[ If he's going to be evasive she doesn't even want to know. She's probably better off not getting involved. ]

[ Just then their view to the street got quickly blocked by a bunch of thugs that were grinning at them like mad dogs. ]
Hey fellas, check it out. An Enma officer coagulatin' with a Shuten soldier.
Ya frickin' idiot, it ain't coagulating. It's collaboratin'.
Oh yeah. Hehe!
But you know, this Enma lady seems kinda fine, right bro?
Yeah, bro!
[ The look in Bishop's eyes grew from dull, annoyed, and tired to annoyed, tired, and angered. ]
....I'm incredibly offended by their simple presence. I know the answer but just making sure, they're not with you, right?
[ He asks glancing over at her, because he really just wants to kill these guys. ]

Those idiots are not with me nor are they worth my time. Anyway, where were we?
[ It's more efficient if they continue their conversation while he's doing his thing if he must. ]

[ One of the yokai gangsters moved closer to Julieta with an out stretched hand. ]
Oi, oi. Don't be so shy nee-s-
[ Bishop moved and grabbed the yokai's wrist, grip hard and already twisting it. ]
Don't. Touch. Her.
[ With a quick jerk of the hand and well placed foot, Bishop threw the yokai to the floor then twisted their arm until a quick snap was heard. Like a pair of chopsticks being broken.
A couple of the yokai reeled back whilst the one on the pavement bellowed in pain. The closest yokai lunged and swung at Bishop, but he was faster and more experienced, swaying to dodge and countering with a jab to the jaw making the yokai take a few steps back. ]
Give me a sec.

[ Is he protecting her or is this just an excuse to attack them? She really isn't sure of what kind of strength she's dealing with here and if she could handle them on her own. Watching this helps her get more of an idea of that. And there's something very satisfying about seeing them get knocked down. ]
no subject
...You know it just occured to me, I don't think any of these guys are affiliated with any clan.
...Did I just beat up some horny civs?
[ Or maybe wannabes. He's hoping wannabes. ]
You're....You're not gonna arrest me for this right?
no subject
[ She casually walks up to them and confiscates their weapons. If there's anything she can't see it's pulled from its hiding place and into her hand by an invisible force. She's looking for identification as well to check for a record. ]
no subject
That's mean. What have I done to deserve that?
[ The question is rhetorical. ]
...You don't seem surprised to see these guys, well not these guys in particular. Something I should know?
no subject
[ She is looking for any of those on their person as well. This could escalate quickly once those cursed things are involved. These are not something she can use her ability to find. Luckily he knocked them all out. That makes searching them that much easier. She frowns when she pulls one out of a cargo pocket. That could have easily been broken in the fight but it appears to be intact. She glances back at him again. ]

[ The he sees her pull the haniwa out and his eyes flash with anger. White hot rage that was only kept in check by the fact he had already beaten them senseless. Though that doesn't stop him from pacing like a caged animal. ]
How long has this been going on?
no subject
[ She eyes him warily. He's more use to her out here than locked up. If he does anything stupid she has no choice. She gives him a look that he needs to stay calm. This does not mean that he needs to go out and beat up more random yokai no matter how much he may want to. ]
no subject
He continues to pace menacingly, but when he finally stops he takes in several deep breaths and runs his hands across his face. Suddenly he's calm, at least on the surface. ]
How many of these guys pop up?
no subject
[ So he's not going to behave but perhaps those destructive tendencies could be put to use. She's willing to work with him which she thought is what he wanted. ]
no subject
I'll take care of it.
[ But he never said he'd bring them in. She may just find them in pieces, and maybe only after a few days. ]
no subject
[ She would have thought all that violence would have been enough for him to vent off whatever this is about. That he's still looking like he wants something to hit is disconcerting. ]
What's bothering you?
no subject
It should be obvious ain't it? These guys using these things like weapons.
[ He won't admit the level of personal satisfaction he'd take from this, but he also thinks she's well aware of the personal nature of this hunt. ]
no subject
[ Right. And she's sending him out to find them. In that case she won't be surprised at whatever he ends up doing then. As long as he brings in those haniwa then it's an effective way of getting what she wants. She'll look the other way. That ought to be enough reward. ]
Do what you must.
no subject
[ He turns to her now wondering if she realizes just what she's about to let walk away. He doesn't look particularly concerned about having back up or not, he wants to know if he's going to have someone holding him back. ]
no subject
I have things to do at the station. I'd better get back there now.
