[nehan has the itch to try the weapons he'd been given access to as part of his new rank in the clan, and of course he gravitated to the guns and daggers. and who better to help him out than a known knife enthusiast? he sent out the invitation, waited for the man to come, and the moment he sees soma arrives, he draws his new hunting knife.

it's not as comfortable as his old weapon, but it hasn't been broken in yet, anyway.]

[the quicker, more shallow strikes are sometimes more dangerous than the wider swipes, especially when nehan's soft organs are all down there. soma successfully manages to get nehan to back up, but that doesn't mean he's going to continue being cautious.

he launches himself at soma again, and clashes blades with him, eyeing the human through his lashes.]

[ He does like that about “the good doctor.” It’s good to not shy away from violence, from possible pain. It says a lot of what kind of person that Nehan is; there is a much more honest conversation that is being had than any that they’ve had in the past.

Soma swipes at the air, attempting to catch the strikes that are swung out. Sometimes, the blade cuts into some of his fingers ‘cause he catches the hit a little too low. More blood running down his hands. Ah? It seems both of his hands are coated in red.

He chuckles to himself; there is a bright fire that burns in him each time he’s hit; each time he catches Nehan with the blade. ]

Maybe I do like violence a little too much.

[apathie]

You do. [nehan's voice, usually soft and low, is now more hoarse, barely above a sleepy murmur in the bedroom.

the erune presses closer, ears perked, and his hands are covered in blood too.] And you certainly don't discriminate. Between hurting others, and hurting yourself.
