I know how to feed myself. And I can always pick up an extra shift at my day job. This is me helping on the side and not my main source of income.

I see it as an investment in my future clientele. If I get cash for filling my card then the small amount I am spending here for food is negligible in my overall earnings. In the short and the long term.

It isn't unheard of in the life, I would rather have clients I have vetted previously than those that I haven't. This is an opportunity for that when I do not have to pay for room rates or the venue anything. What is a meal or two there?
