[ The bar is almost exclusively Shuten members, most of them wearied with nightly patrols and clashes. There's plenty of muttering and chatter about the recent assassination, with the common complaint being 'fuck I have to get my funeral suit out of storage'.

Majima points lost souls into a slightly more secluded room done up in the titular white koi pattern. ]

[ He is also weary and bruised from some fights, leaning back against the wall with a cigarette and a drink. ]

( Samatoki has been watching and listening more than anything else, but beginning to feel restless and keyed up the more they spoke.

Before he gets a good look at Gojyo, he nods and speaks. )

[Gojyo paused as he noticed Samatoki step out from the backends of the bar. He eyed him up curiously. Samatoki was a decently big guy, and he seemed eager and rearing to go. A bit too eager, perhaps. But that wasn't a bad thing.

Gojyo grinned with excitement at the prospect. Finally, something exciting was about to happen-- something involving their clan.]

Alright. That's one man down.

[ Despite his moodiness, Majima is also pretty ready for his assignment to be 'punch some shit'. Nice and simple. ]

[Sheliak was less enthusiastic but he couldn't go against a direct order like that. A part of him thought this was a mistake. A clash between clans was too dangerous right now but he gave in with a quiet sigh, his brief hesitation fading under blind loyalty.]

You gotta realize a lot of these rough bastards are new to these sorts of scenes. So, with their naturally spunky personality too much control would just make 'em want to rebel all the mroe yeah?

[ He shakes his head as it sinks between his shoulders tiredly. ]

[He motioned over to the rest of the participating crew, half drunk and living it up, half-dower and unsure about the building circumstances.]

We all have a job to do and contracts to prove it. I'm sure the whole damn crew's aware of that. But if you go too hard on the group right off the get-go, then it's only going to cause them to question things or even fight back in some cases.

We're all stuck in this clan cause we got similarities. And I feel one of those 'similarities' is that we're all stubborn bastards who like a good fight. Ain't it a good idea to get them to 'want' to work for it rather than just threatening them off the get-go?

[ Sigh. He slouches to his feet, patting his jacket for his cigarettes. Whatever is on Majima's mind is enough that he's just leaving the room.

He doesn't talk about the Hole or what happened to him for being spirited and young and not obedient enough. He's not going to start now. ]

[Wow.

W-was what he said that bad of a consideration? He was mainly going off of his own life experience with that. But it seemed something he said only made the already depressed-looking Majima look done with it all.

But he could only sit there, eyes wide with genuine surprise, as he watched the guy sulk off out of the bar.
