(Everything here is weird, Lalli! The food isn't though. Not always. He's just going to pop another takoyaki in his mouth. A whole piece in one chomp!!)

[He can at least admit to that because he knows how weird he is to most people. But he's still sitting there, watching Hizen eat. So that's how you eat takoyaki, huh? All in one go? He'll have to remember that if he ever tries it.]

(Eat it all in one go and burn the top of your mouth off, Lalli. There is a way to eat takoyaki! And Hizen has perfected it.)

(He's still chewing but he glances over at Lalli when he mentions that,)

Mhmm. Most people leave when they hear ghosts are nearby.

[It makes sense in Lalli's world, and the logic might carry over here too. Who wouldn't be afraid of ghosts?]

You're also very grumpy.

[Okay that one isn't as logically sound.]

I'm not afraid of no ghosts.

(When he's a spirit himself, he's practically one of them. This is basically like being forced to go to some annoying work event where you have to mingle with people that aren't even in your department? Or with your company?

As for the second point? He makes a half laugh,)

Heh. (Ok, that was kind of funny.) What about it? Got a problem with it?

No. Grumpy doesn't mean unfriendly. My friend is grumpy but he's a good person.

[Lalli is talking about Izo here, for the record. His judgement of 'good people' is a bit skewed.]

Can't be that great if his personality sucks.

(When you inherit your personality from a version of Izo and you're knocking different Izo without realizing it......)

You shouldn't be talking, you and him are both the same kind of grumpy.

But yes throw shade at Izo, he deserves it.]

(He eats another piece of takoyaki.)

So what? You going around making lame friends because you can't make good ones?

(Is that why Lalli is still talking to him......)

Didn't I just tell you not to put yourself down?

[Who knows with Lalli. Sometimes he attaches himself to people, sometimes he just dislikes them for no reason. The fact that he's still talking is probably a good sign though.]

You're telling me what to do? I don't even know your name.

(He's not falling for this attempt at being motivational and encouraging. )

[Yeah he's just coming out and saying it like this fixes everything.

He also goes quiet after, waiting for Hizen to respond in kind.]

(Oh. So he just... goes ahead and says his name like that's going to fix everything? He rolls his eyes and eats another takoyaki. His mouth still full--)

... Hizen.

Okay. Hizen. I will remember that.

[It seems to make some kind of logical sense to Lalli at least? Whatever he was looking for, he seems to have found it.

He's also grabbing his phone and putting 'Hizen' into his contacts. Coincidentally, there's nobody in his phone between 'Hizen' and 'Izo', so they're right next to each other in Lalli's contact list.]

(Wow, and he's even putting it in his phone....... Hizen doesn't get why but okay maybe

He still isn't going to share his takoyaki with him. This time.)

I can go warn others, if you think you will be alright.

[Hizen is only 'possibly friendly', so Lalli will actually give him space now. But Hizen better enjoy that before Lalli gets attached and suddenly Hizen has no personal space at all.]
