[nehan's ears twitch, before pointing forward. color him interested, and he climbs onto the stool, uncaring of who looks at his exposed back. they can look all they want, when nehan has the glamour on, hiding some scars and lightening others. he's much, much less self-conscious, and more comfortable with regular erune fashion.]

A glass of that, then. [and he can start to loosen up for the work ahead of him.]

[ ooh, nice fit. and shylock doesn't like the unique spin of that kimono too. why don't we as a society wear them backless anyway?

he smiles. ]

Trade secret. But I can assure you that they're not spiked unless you request them to be.

[ it's an easy recipe to make anyway -- a dash of rum, a bit of amaretto, orange and pomegranate juice, and some seltzer water. he even lights up a sprig of rosemary for effect before serving it up to his fellow tamamo. ]

[apathie]

[well, it may not be a trade secret anymore once nehan gets to sip at it, if he can tell what the ingredients are.]

I don't mind it spiked. [then he tilts his head, one ear flicking. of course, it does depend on what sort of thing that drink is spiked. he does have a shift at the brothel hosting the orgy after all. more alcohol or even an aphrodisiac would help him, rather than hurt him.]

Is your extra ingredient a trade secret as well?

[ he could, but where's the fun in that? ]

Not at all. At least, not in our clan. It helps in our performance, but some of our clients wouldn't like having their thoughts addled during the session. Consent is key, remember?

[ he smiles ever so cheekily. ]

[well, now shylock has given him a clue-- it's a tamamo special, and nehan knows a good deal of those, even if he hasn't managed to get their formulas just yet, or even met whoever makes them.]

It's fine if it's me. [he waves one hand.] I have a long shift at the bath house hosting the orgy, but I wont be part of it myself.

Making bets on the sumo matches. Watching the parade. Perhaps finding someone to pay my way while we watch the trees bloom. [you know, classic nehan things. finding someone to use and ruin.

he takes the glass in hand and waves it underneath his nose like he's sampling wine before taking a sip. then he nods. not his type, but still...]

I don't think you need to pay someone to watch the cherry trees with you, however. You're already a charmer in your own way.

[ is he being sarcastic? hard to tell, but honestly he isn't. nehan's a decent guy, if a little rough around the edges? there's a certain charm about those kinds of guys. ]

You mishear me, I think.

I want them to pay for me and my expenses through the festival. [because he wants to save his money to move out. it's a worthy pursuit, for him, and he can handle being arm candy for a day towards that goal.]

Oh? Well, my point still stands. You're still charming in your own way, so I'm sure people are already lining up for your company.

[ he may be laying it on too thick but. it's true. ]

[laying it on a little too thick, indeed. enough that nehan cant not address it, first with a raised eyebrow, watching him over the rim of his glass as he takes another sip.

he doesn't even know how nehan manages to do it, or that he even puts on a farce for it to happen. weirdo.

he only speaks when he puts his drink down and dabs his lips with a bit of tissue.]

Are you trying to boost my confidence?

Hm. [despite himself, he does smile a little as he looks back down to his drink.]

I may just, when I'm about to blow out my back and knees from all the servicing I shall do.

Worry not-- I'm familiar with the drugs the clan carries, and I'm sure they'll be available at the orgy. I can just use one of those.

But wouldn't it a nice gesture to offer them a drink regardless?

[ here -- he'll procure one in a paper cup for nehan. ]

Oh? [nehan peers at the cup, one ear perking up, before he reaches for it and slides it his way and starts to pour it into an empty bottle he procures from his sleeve. because he does carry a few with him.]

Too kind. [despite him being a brat... well, both of them again.] I suppose I can make use of this. How should I repay you?

Your company is more than enough. Although passing along my name would be just as ideal -- I am doing my best in promoting my brand, after all.
