[To his delight and to the delight of the crowd, Dante manages to yank Musashi down and out the ring with unnecessary flourish. He throws his hands into the air in victory once she's down, clearly thrilled to have won his maiden match. However, it's a victory Dante doesn't fully take to heart since he knows this is just one of many matches. Even so, he's quick to check on Musashi.]

Hey, are you okay? [Dante questions as he knees down beside her.] That's not the most flattering position to be in, little lady.

[He jokes before offering her his hand.]

C'mon, Musashi! Let's get you a drink, okay?

[ He'd need to give her a moment.

Her dignity broke.

"Not the most flattering" wound up being face and chest down, back bent over, like she'd gotten folded the wrong way falling off a ledge. Eventually she sort of collapsed onto her side, but still took a moment to meekly take the offered hand. ]

You don't... think too many people saw that, right?

[ The whole crowd saw it. ]

[Despite her broken dignity and all, Dante can't help but admire Musashi for taking things in stride. While he's certain all of Jigoku-cho witnessed that nasty fall, Dante doesn't have the heart to tell her. That's why he shakes his head and tells a little fib.]

Nah, I think you're good. [He answers with a lighthearted chuckle.] At least you didn't break something, right?

[Imagine accidentally breaking an arm of a leg in front of hundreds of spectators. That would've been down right terrible.]

I think you earned a full bottle of sake for your troubles.

[ Well, she may have wound up eating dirt, but the sound of a full bottle of sake at no charge to herself patched up that wounded pride REAL quick. She still looked a bit sheepish as she flopped about and righted herself, rubbing the back of her neck, but hey.

Could be worse. ]

Probably gonna be a little sore, but that's the way things go, right? Nothing some drinks can't cure! Let's get dressed, first, though.

[ She is not going out drinking in sumo gear... ]

[He figured that a full bottle of the good stuff would do the trick. While he's more of a whisky connoisseur, Musashi here is all about the sake. He doesn't doubt the woman might be a little fond of shōchū as well but she seems to be a big sake drinker. Maybe they'll get some of both later on. It just depends on how much Dante is willing to spend after getting Musashi her personal bottle of sake.]

Alright, let's meet round back in 10 minutes.

[He suggests before heading back towards the impromptu locker rooms. Unlike her,, he didn't really rock the sumo attire. There's just something about parading around in a fundoshi that doesn't appeal to him. It just seems a bit too drafty for his liking. He quickly puts on his shirt and grabs his signature red coat before heading back out. By the time he meets up with Musashi again, he's fiddling around with the straps to his gun holster.]

[ Given everything involved in assembling the outfit, it's remarkable how quickly she manages to change into her festival wear. It was a loaner from the clan's tailors, so she had to make extra certain she was careful to not get it dirty. Probably explained why, despite getting changed quickly, it takes her just a little longer than 10 to meet back up.

Brushing her hair up, she takes in a breath and shoots Dante a thumbs up. ]

Let's get this party started!

[ Immediately followed by a wince. Okay, maybe her back hurt a little more than she thought... Surely that wouldn't come up later, right? ]

Lookin' sharp!

[He comments once he catches a glimpse of that fancy mint-green kimono. Green isn't his color but it looks rather nice on her. It kind of makes him wish he dressed up a little bit but he's saving his cash. Money is a little hard to come by without the Devil May Cry. While Dante plans on setting up shop soon, he has a long way to go.]

Lemme guess, you found yourself a "sugar momma" since we last met up.

[He's only joking but he wouldn't put it pass Musashi. Hell, even he could use a nice "sugar momma" or "sugar daddy" at this point. Dante isn't too strapped for cash but he could use more of it.]

Are you okay, though?

[He didn't miss that wince earlier, babe. Something's up.]

No sugar to be had, but Tamamo provided us with festival outfits, so this is a loaner.

[ It made sense. Tenkohime expected representatives of her clans to look damn good at a festival, and Musashi couldn't complain about looking cute for free. So long as it wasn't coming out of her wallet, it was fine! She sure hope she didn't get anything like blood or something on it later...

But as for his other comment... ]

Eh, it's soreness from getting slapped and thrown around, but nothing I can't handle. I do worse to myself in my own training, sometimes.

The Tamamo clan loaned that to you? [He asks with a hint of disbelief in his tone.] Geez, I guess the fox lady really like you guys.

[There's no such thing as "freebies" within the Shuten Clan. Grumpy old Toraguma expects everyone to pull their own weight here regardless of how much they contribute to the clan. It's a little frustrating but there's nothing anyone can do about it. However, that hasn't stopped Dante from using every waking moment to pester Toraguma into giving him a raise. If there's one thing that can be said about Dante, it's that he's determined.]

And here I thought you drank more than you trained.

[Of course, he says this just moments away from them arriving at the bar. The bar in question is a quaint little spot off the main road here. It's a hole in the wall establishment with just a couple of chairs but the ambiance is nice. This place is apart of the Golden Gai, a network of 200 or something odd bars scattered throughout town. This particular bar is known as the Roaring Tiger, one of the many Shuten based watering holes in this district of town.]

Grab a chair, girlie! The drinks are on me.

[ Normally being a Tamamo in Shuten territory was a recipe for a fight to break out, but thankfully it was festival time and everyone seemed to be in a highly agreeable mood. Perfect for Musashi, of course. She had her swords at her hip, but the less she had to use them today, the better.

She plops herself down with a hum, settling her hands in front of her and looking at the menu. Sake was, of course, the goal, but they had a bunch of tasty looking sochu...

But she did remember that remark from earlier. ]

Believe it or not, I keep up pretty diligently with my training! I get up early every morning to work out.

Do you now? I wouldn't have ever guessed~!

[Judging from the surprise in his tone, Dante thought of her to be a lazy lay-about much like him. While he's not really lazy, Dante certainly does have his moments. He just lacks the motivation sometimes to do anything productive. That's just how he is considering how much he enjoys goofing around.]

How do you manage the train if you're always sloshed, pinky? Even I have a bit of trouble doing that.

[When the bartender approaches, Dante is quick to0 order a round of sake for the two of them. He plans on eventually just buying the entire bottle but he really wants to try this sweet nigori sake.]

[ Musashi also gets a dish of edamane to go with the order. As for Dante's question. ]

Well, the trick is to never get a hang over. You drink plenty of water and eat salty foods, and you'll be alright!

[ She still had to wake up pretty early in the morning, though... ]

Fact is, it took a lot of hard work to get as good as I am. You don't just wind up born with these abilities, yanno?
