[Ydris can't really indulge in drinking, but they promised drinks on them for conversation, so Goromi's order is told to be put on their tab. If a cigarette is offered, then they'll take that. Perched up on a stool, they cross their legs and maintain a very upright posture.]

Not all that much has changed for you, coming here? To Hell, I mean. [not just this club in particular, should probably be said]

Familiarity makes you an asset, far as I can see it. My world is nothing like this one.

[they're also extremely book learned and sheltered compared to anything "street smart" so being in a group that's supposed to gather information by being smooth and clever isn't exactly Ydris' forte. They're at least very social and willing to make connections.]

[ She considers this. She knows what he is saying is correct. In fact, she wouldn't be teasing Tenkohime filling out one of her cards if she didn't know the entertainment business so well. It's strange for one moment to actually find herself respecting the idea that she knows things and has something to offer.

Majima's go to statement is that he's only good for fighting. Then again, he was made to feel worthless, obedient, dependent. Sitting there behind her cigarette, she's acutely aware of the dissonance between the game of Goromi and the day to day life of Goro. ]

[Ydris drags on the cigarette, but no smoke comes out when they speak. Then again, they don't really blink, so their inhumanity is quite clear from paying even the slightest bit of attention to them. They just don't try very hard to act "natural" while wearing their human guise]

My apologies. I was created to be an asset, it slips by me that mortals find that distasteful. [much like it slips by them that they should blink once in a while!]

[ They tortured him trying to make him into nothing more but a tool. But Goromi has some distance from that, wasn't her. So she just blinks lazily, watching the way no smoke returns from Ydris's mouth. ]
