You had a stroke of bad luck, being caught in that blast. The building was still in use and contained weaponry, which made the explosion bigger than it otherwise would have been. All the bombs I disarmed were in abandoned or disused buildings, and as far as I know, the pattern has been the same elsewhere.

I suppose the terrorists' aims must have been to maximise destruction yet minimise casualties, but... [Even if that's true, what does that say about their overall goals?
