At some point during the festival, Huaisang would be wandering about pretending to be drunker than he actually is. For the most part, he'd feign sleepiness and try to fade into the background fringes of noisier groups so he could eavesdrop.

He'd be interested in general rumors about Ringo, Kaberou, and Iron Bear since any knowledge has potential to be useful in his book. Aside from those, he'd also want to keep an ear out for rumors about prominent Lost Souls in the past, any clans that were once around but aren't any longer, and any rumors in circulation about Tenkohime's past.
