When he starts to repeat the ministrations on another oni collapsed adjacently, a hand feebly grasps his arm as though to halt him, its owner grumbling something unintelligible with whatever life still in them.
In the following moment, yet another gunshot rings across the room, and the hand on Saito's arm goes completely limp. With a lopsided tilt of his head, Saito glances up at Fukuda, shoulders visibly shaking with barely contained laughter.]
Well, they're dead now. All we can still do is confiscate whatever stardust they might have on them.
[Then, seemingly not minding the gross mess of blood and cerebral plasma painting the floor under the fresh new corpse (in fact, the fascination with which he's inspecting the source of said mess hints something else), Saito finishes his inspection on that body. Which, much to his already high amusement, produces from the corpse's pockets one suspicious, faintly glowing object wrapped in candy wrapper!]
