She didn't even have a family to begin with. Well, she did technically... But the family she had was not real. Mindless NPCs that were meant to bring some color to her world. Even her past wasn't real, so should she be able to bring stuff from the game into this world, it would have zero value. Her reality was hollow. No past, no future. Only she and her friends had been real. And it seemed even now she was free from it... It'd still continue to haunt her for a while.
