He’s not going to call Hizen’s bluff. Yizhi thinks enough of Toraguma to assume he won’t send an utterly incompetent hitman. In another context he might say something about the reluctance to kill still being a real part of Hizen even if he suppresses it in the end; but here Yizhi throws caution to the wind and goes towards Hizen, strafing to the side opposite the sword. He’ll try to get in close enough that the sword becomes unwieldy to aim, though this means taking the slash, but he’s hoping changing his position will make it land somewhere awkward and nonlethal.
Also, Yizhi will take this chance to finally take out his contact taser and swing it at Hizen’s waist. Even if it makes contact, it’s possible Hizen would be trained enough to shrug off the pain- he is just here to put up a fight, actually.]
