Who ⬤ Ibaraki-Douji and you
What ⬤ Isonade, shopping, Cursed Objects
When ⬤ Near the end of the month
Where ⬤ Isonade warehouse, grocery store
Content Warnings ⬤ violence, blood, gore, cannibalism, potential theft, horror themes, oni stuff
I – Isonade “Conclusion” (A cw: violence, cannibalism, actual butchering of a shark person)
[Large, hulking bodies lay sprawled out on the ground in various states of brokenness. Ibaraki didn’t care much for doing this work, but a job is a job and that porcelain set she had been eyeing was not only under a bit tighter security than she would like, but also a might to expensive for her to purchase.
There was a swing of her iron club at the knee of the last shark standing. It was difficult to near impossible for the berserking oni to hold back and not turn the now collapsing Isonade into pavement lotion. All of it made worse by the angry growling from her stomach. She was already gearing up to do just that as well, using the momentum of her swing to bring her weapon back around towards the stupidly large youkai’s head.
He was the last one standing and potentially alive.
He needs to be kept alive! Someone stop her before the yellow terror turns his head into an egg!]
II – Isonade Warehouse
What is this stuff?
[It must all be valuable if those shark idiots were guarding it all. She uses her club to break open a crate and peer inside. Herbs that she didn’t outright recognize in this one. Taking one out, she gives it a confused sniff. Seriously, what is this stuff? She grabs a few more and gives them a once over. Valuable, but she doesn’t know why.]
Oi, what’s in the other ones?
[She barked out, stepping away from the crate, herbs no longer visible in her hands. These items are valuable… she can determine that much. How valuable, and who the buyers are, are some of the chief questions on her mind.
That, and determining if she can use them for anything herself. Probably not for that last bit. But a person can’t keep a mischievous oni from trying.]
III – Strawberries
[Shuten mentioned strawberries that were like the sweetest candies being sold at this “grocery” store. Naturally Ibaraki had to go take a look around in order sate her partner’s tastes, as well as her own. The amount of stuff here, however, it all made the oni’s eyes go wide.
So this… is a grocery store.
The amount of items available, the snacks she could buy, the generally low prices and lax security!
Obviously it doesn’t take her long to fill up her basket with stuff and nearly run into someone as she was eyeing up some particularly delicious looking candy, causing her chosen items to fall to the ground!
Oh no!]
IV – Cursed Objects
[That porcelain and all of those treats she got were certainly pricey, but it would all be worth it in the end when she presented it to her. Ibaraki was feeling rather giddy at the thought, like she’d achieved some great victory here!
Pink strawberries that taste like the sweetest candies. Ornate dishes that would surely be approved of! Fufu… yes, indeed, she did do well today!]
Kuhahaha! Shuten, just you wait until you see the treasures I’ve gained!
[So prideful! Her triumphant laughter is cut short when something… heavy and twisted fills the air. At once Ibaraki jumps off to the side as the world erupts into a vision of twisted, dark tendrils.]
O-Oi! Not right now, you stupid curse!
[She’s carrying some very expensive, very breakable, items!]
[WILDCARD]
[Feel free to hit me up with whatever!]
