[ the hussle and bustle of shuten territory was entirely new to mitsuri -- a stark contrast to the organization and (arguable) monotony of enma department. it was even a change compared to what she was used to when she was still alive.

in a small way, she's a little grateful for the change from her role as a hashira. despite all of the wonderful, irreplacible memories she holds, mitsuri now has the opportunity to explore rather than being confined to the patrol of just one region. it was a bizarre and newfound freedom that she was keen to try out, although she knows she has to be wary when roaming around another faction's territory.
