Her brow lowers as a shadow crosses her expression, resigned and disappointed with the oni's response.] She was an unfortunate victim of this entire mess. You merely did away with her to sate your own insatiable boredom... which leaves me to believe only one thing.

[She raises her sword, as well as the hand still stained with blood. Her lips press together until the rosy tint of them becomes a shade darker, and the dark gradient bangs that fall across her cheekbones blow quietly in the remnants of the haniwa's lingering curse.
She brings her bloodied fingers to the very end of her sharp stinger. Without so much as a twitch or wince she pricks her forefinger on the end and watches as a dot of fresh welling blood rises from the wound.
From where she stands she extends a hand forward, her lips slowly lifting into a quiet smile.]

[A blur— a fraction of a second after that last syllable leaves her lips. Her silvery sword is hissing through the air for a second time and close behind it— a blur of red, her own bleeding hand aimed for the oni's mouth as if to silence her once and for all.
Whether her stinger connects first or her hand, it hardly matters now.]
