Wow, the boss lady loved it so much, she watched it in silence? That speaks volumes if you ask me.

[Her head tilts at his suggestion for their seating, brows raised and lips smiling with bemusement. The excited whispering increases because clearly, something is going on between the freshest and hottest movie star Lost Soul in Jigokucho, and this mysterious flirtatious young woman who totally didn't cause chaos last month in the bathhouses who's asking]

Oh, is that how it is? Everyone might end up looking at us instead of the screen. We're courting a different kind of problem, is all I'm saying.

[Regardless, she's fine with it.]

To the back, it is then. I don't like sitting in the front anyways.

[She moves to their theater; snacks can be acquired after they get their chairs!]

[paperpusher]

It certainly says something. [He lets the wry tone come through, even if he keeps his comment under his breath before switching back to the carefree flirting voice.] Well, who could blame them? I can't hold it against everyone for wanting to look at a beautiful woman like yourself instead of my silly movie.

[He tugs his hat further down as they walk into the theater and head for the back, which does absolutely nothing to prevent the audience already in their seats from breaking out in excited whispers and craning their necks (in some cases, extremely long necks) around to look at them. Natori's an old hat at getting this timing right, though; he gestures for Monts to sit right as the lights dim for the previews. In an undertone:] What do you think? Would you rather sit here while I get the snacks, or should I be a terrible excuse for a gentleman and send you out there alone?

Well, you're all in or nothing for this sort of thing aren't you? But I appreciate being called beautiful.

[She's not gonna be ungrateful about that.]

Hm. Well, if I go, I have a feeling I'll have to deal with whispers and pointing. If you go, you'll deal with the same thing and have a crowd form.

... But you'd also be here alone in the dark if I go... Either way, sounds scary.

[paperpusher]

[For a moment, the expression that crosses Natori's face is best described as "do you think I'm afraid of the dark?" Then he rolls with it, clasping one of her hands between his and bowing over it like a knight swearing duty.]

My lady... is that your way of telling me that you're afraid of the dark? If that's the case, [you can go get the popcorn--] I won't let you stay in here by yourself. I'll be right here, waiting for you, and chasing the dark away with my charming smile.

[nerine]

[She waves at Natori with her free hand, dismissing the notion.]

That was a joke. Probably not a good one, but we would be in the dark with a bunch of youkai around us, is the point I'm making.

[And with said free hand, she pokes his forehead playfully.]

I'll give you credit for your chivalry though. It's giving everyone more to talk about and all. But if you can get the popcorn and back before the movie starts, we'll be good to go and I promise I won't be shivering in my seat because I was temporarily abandoned.
