In an alternate timeline, Minakami has died on the spot at an earlier point in this thread. Here lies that world's Minato Suizenji, assassinated by his best friend asking him to hold his lotioned-up hands in the middle of a 7-11. Will that fate yet come to pass? Time will tell.
Having picked up the requested soda and snacks, he's been hovering around the packaged food aisle, letting the other two have their conversation in peace and trying to decide if the anpan looks stale or not (impossible for him to tell through the plastic wrapping, there must be an actual bakery in this city somewhere...).
"Mm? What is it?" At Tamamori's calling and waving (which merits just the barest eyeroll from the cashier, but not more than that; pour one out for all night-shift clerks the multiverse over), Minakami ambles back over -- he seems to have regained his equilibrium, as he addresses Yizhi: "Have you been giving Tamamori an education?"
