[ Tama has seen a lot of strange things, since arriving in hell. Most of it has given him a headache- like slam-dunking a certain magazine on to a certain yokai's face, or the entire rain debacle he's still embarrassed by days after, but it's not all been bad. He's been taken by the funny little haniwa, at least half the demons he's run in to haven't been annoying, and he's seen a lot of things beyond even his own wildest dreams (which are, of course, pretty wild).
But something as simple as the little perching grass bird hopping on top of his delicately placed haniwa hat is just another one of those things that are utterly, distractingly neat about this otherwise kinda-exhausting place. And it's for that exact reason that Tama freezes, eyes locked on the bird...then reaches out as fast as he can to try and catch it in his hands like one might a grasshopper. For all he knows, it's some kind of yokai or animal native to hell!! ] Mina- I caught something! [ He's of course being careful to try and not squish the little grass bird, because now he has to show it to his friend!! ]
