But Hizen is quiet because he sure has seen enough people lose themselves in the rain and among the curses.)

(He isn't particularly proud to be in the clan and he wouldn't really say he has attachments or anything to the way their divisions work here but he understands where Matoba is coming from and... well, he doesn't disagree but he doesn't agree completely either,)

There are spirits and other youkai, too. Not everyone is trained or prepared for something like this.

(Implying, just slightly, that he might be. He's just a tsukumogami; he isn't a particularly powerful spirit compared to most others here and he definitely isn't immune to the effects. He's just been trained for this sort of thing.)

We watch out for each other and make sure no one loses their grip. If they do, we knock sense into them.

(Brutish but it works, okay.)

The boss said the same thing. Work together and help where we can. Not everyone made it to the shelters and some are too stubborn or lost to try.
