The Kappa were certainly not subtle, most seemed to believe the work was for a generator of some kind. If they're to be believed, [a big "if" to Ydris, because lying to save ones' skin is certainly a common thing in their own culture. Still. Trying to look more objectively, not immediately presume incompetence or malice... such motivations often allude them, anyways, especially of non-human entities] what they were building was not intended to be used the way it was.

The only discontent within the clan I heard was between two Kappa tribes; River and Mountain. It seems the former are in charge of the sewers and the latter resent them for... reasons unknown to me.
