Jumping in here because potentially very funny-
Ydris absorbed two bullets with their wax head. Could that have absorbed this mystery symbol? Just stamped right to the side of their temple.
They melted one bullet right into their face so that's not an option, but the idea the other left a mark is something I left open aha.
